My cockatiel Cheddar the Shredder has a fantastic time demolishing this toy in just a few days. So...there is a limitation in that it is a lot of money for a toy that does not last. On the other hand, the purpose is for him to enjoy it and he does! After the very soft wood blocks are all chewed up, I take some crinkle paper that I buy separately and tie it on. This extends the usefulness and Cheddar is happy chewing up the paper.

Our parakeet is rather dense (ignores chewing block) but he actually chews on the soft balsa wood on this one. He has a fast-growing beak. We think this toy will help him.

I wish they had put a metal ring in the middle of the wooden pieces. They came of after a bit of chewing. So , I think the wooden things would stay on longer if they did. He still plays with the toy that is left but this could be improved.

well, the birds loved it. it lasted one day before it was turned into splinters. Will probably buy another sooner or later, probably later. can't afford such a treat for them.

The product is way smaller then expected. Product fits in the palm of my hand thats how small it is. Not satisfied at all
