As a person who has suffered from years of neuropathic pain and the loss of sensation in my hands, arms feet, I've read up on research that has found L-serine to be helpful to mitigate some of the pain from peripheral neuropathy-- and also HSAN1 which I suffer from (not diabetes-related).
