Durable lttle cultivator!
I bought this cultivator expecting just to use it on just my garden. Let me tell you this is so lightweight and easy to maneuver I have used it throughout my yard. Between the garden that is 50x60 and various bushes I planted, it has saved me days of work. The only issue is the cotter pin on the tine it is difficult to remove causing deformation when removing it. When replacing make sure to crimp it slightly to make sure it is fully engaged.

The shipping box was in great condition but the actual product inside was destroyed.
I first ordered this tiller to fix up my backyard. I've been busy with my day job working nearly 85 hours a week so when the tiller came in I've only had time to put the Amazon box in the shed and wait for a day I could actually work on my yard. When the day came I opened the Amazon box ,which was in perfect condition, I found a mangled box and the item was damaged inside. The lock for the air filter was cracked off and the chassis for the rip cord is smashed. It feels as though there is too much tension on the cord as well. It looks like someone threw the box down a flight of stairs and then mailed it to me. I went to try and return it but I am not eligible to return it apparently. Such a disappointment because I order from Amazon quite often.

Southland Cultivator 43cc, 2 cycle, Full Crankshaft Engine
This machine is absolutely perfect. We have used it over a dozen times for all sorts of projects in the yard. And works ideal for my garden and outside the garden area. The only con: You may need 2 people because the grass does have a tendency to get stuck in the blades. I recommend every time you hit a large patch of grassy area, you stop and remove. It's very simple and easy to remove it. My husband and I worked as a team. Works like a breeze for us. We love it!

Piece of junk and warranty is a joke.
I bought this tiller with high hopes. Used it one time last year and stored it properly. This year it would not start. I called the number on the machine for service. They took forever to answer. Sent me a new carburetor. Still didn't work. I took it to a local small engine shop. They ordered another carburetor and it still wouldn't work. Called the service line again and was told to take it to an authorized service center. Tried that but they were not open and their number was disconnected. Called the service number again. They said take it to another factory service center quite a few miles away. Would have had to drive 1.5 hours each way twice. not worth it. Bad product and bad service and warranty. Beware.

UPDATE JUNK
Used two times and now it won’t start, and the return policies is over, I don’t recommend this to anyone, spend the extra money and buy a name brand.I’m going to call the 1-800 number tomorrow to see what they say, I’ll update tomorrow, UPDATED NO HELP FROM SERVICE, so now I need to find someone to repair, this things sucks

I didnt want to go an entire day without working so i took the handle off the good one and replaced the broken one
I bought 2 of these units to till loose mulched gardens with weeds. Even with two I could only work for 2 hours. The first unit handle bent out and down after 15 minutes of use. I assembled the second unit and began to work. This unit lasted roughly 45 minutes before the throttle cable broke and left the machine running at full speed. I have to turn the unit on it's side to press the off switch. I didnt want to go an entire day without working so i took the handle off the good one and replaced the broken one. I fired the combined unit up and worked for another 30-45 minutes before throttle cable gave out and the unit never started again. I seriously doubt 2 defective units back to back is a coincidence. I have asked for a refund but I am not sure if this item qualifies and I do not want a replacement or for it to be fixed.

great little tiller
the only issues i have is the handle bars are not the best they bend easy and make the tiller hard to handle with the bars bending. other than that its a great little tool

Couldn't get it started, called the 1-800 number, ...
Couldn't get it started, called the 1-800 number, I was told to take it to a shop in Locust Grove, when I called the number I was told it will sit over 6 weeks, a fee to drop it off, wasn't told how much more I will have to pay. Need to return the product, been in box until i decided to get it started to do some work.Update: forgot to mention the equipment was damage. adding pictureNeed to return this because I am not going to pay money to take to a shop.
