Great Product.
Exactly what I needed at a decent price. This little device allowed me to salvage the data from my daughter's computer that was failing and actually use the salvaged hard drive as a back up disk. If this was encased in a hard case it would have been better but than I realize that the price would have been higher. Therefore for one time use this was incredible because my daughter was quoted hundreds of dollars to retrieve her data from the hard drive. I was able to remove the hard drive and use this device to access the data through USB port for under $10. WOW. Arrived in time, intact and worked perfectly. Thanks.

it does not fit samsung m2 ssd
bought it to clone ssd's but Samsung wlil not work in it

Worked like a charm
Plugged in an M.2 Sata drive that BIOS and Onboard Diagnostics said was dead/didn't exist and was able to pull off all the files I was looking for. Good get for the price, handy tool for any tech considering how common these SSDs are in laptops now.

Absolute LIFESAVER!
This was an absolute lifesaver! My laptop was unusable and I could not project onto another monitor, but this allowed me to take all the data off my SSD without hassle. The unit is a bit flimsy since it's really just the circuit board that connects to the usb port, but as long as your careful with it, all is good.

Did not work
Purchased this to recover files from a replaced SSD, plugged into computer and although the adapter itself was recognized, it did not recognize the connected SSD and was useless. Purchase a replacement from a different company and it worked perfect, was able to see and copy all files from the old SSD.Do not bother with this

Didn't work for me
m2 drive worked fine in computer, so it is not the drive. windows 10 and 7 detect a USB device, but nothing happens. disk management does not see it, not does device manager. will return.

Easy touse with the Ma chips
Was easy to use, especially since it comes with a hold-down screw to fit the nutsert.It would work better if the USB connector was reversed, on the same side as the chip holder, but that's a minor inconvenience. I would buy another if the need arose.Good value for the price charged.
