I had a very pricey electric counter top water purifier that never quite worked right, was cumbersome to use and had very expensive filters that died long before the time they were supposed to last. I have very smelly water that always left residue when I made tea and was afraid a filter pitcher would not get out enough of the bad stuff. But this pitcher does the trick. This was my second one so that I always have enough water to fill tea kettle - one was never quite enough.

This is an awesome product. When I lived with my parents, I didn't have to worry about water. My mother boiled a water every day, and there was always plenty of water in a refrigerator even though there are four members in my family. After I left my home, I had to buy 3 L of water every day. It was really irritating!!! I could learn how irritating and annoying chore my mother has done for more than 20 years for family. Below are the reasons I decided to buy Brita.1. Water bottle is too heavy.2. I cannot imagine pay 2 dollars for water bottle.3. How can I consume more than 3 L every day? Am I a hippo?!I am sure that this is the best decision I made in 2022.I usually boil the water that was purified by Brita. Camomile, peach detox, and earl grey are my favorites. I especially love earl grey tea. It makes me remind of the milk tea I ate in my home country. There was a franchise coffee shop that sells 'royal milk tea'. They used Twinings's earl grey. I really miss this menu.

I had to reorder a 2nd time because the first pitcher came in a small bag that was busting open on the top. The pitcher was both scratched AND cracked.The 2nd came in an OVERSIZED box with one piece of packing paper & the pitcher wasn’t in its already minimal package. Pitcher has 2 decent scratches, (one is over an inch the other was a circular scratch just smaller than the size of a dime).I decided to keep it because who knows what surprises would come with a 3rd attempt.The pitcher:Good size. Not too heavy for my weak wrists. I keep it on the counter for room temp water. It’s kept next to the sink for easy access refills.Set up was decent. After washing the pitcher before first use, the filter pops in super easy. You need a little time to fill & dump the pitcher 3 times before you can drink the water. I do it while tackling another task (cooking dinner, cleaning… so it doesn’t seem as tedious).I like that the Elite filter (blue filter) is stated to last 6 months. Here’s hoping. There’s a sensor that lights up to help you keep track of filter life, but I put the date on a piece of masking tape, craftily placed on the pitcher. It’s a trust issue with whatever battery is in there.No leaks, works well, water tastes good & looks kinda cute on my counter. I’m happy to NOT have to use disposable bottles.I DO wish the plastic that the pitcher is made of was a little sturdier.

The blue filter is perfect! I’ll definitely order more! Don’t need to buy bottled water anymore!

Went from slow as molasses Propur pitcher (that broke down in less than a month) to this fast af Brita pitcher and all I can say is WOW! My tap water no longer tastes like metal, more like Poland Spring! Ok, maybe not THAT good but it’s pretty darn close! I was starting to get skeptical after my bad experience with the Propur pitcher but this just blows it out of the water (no pun intended)! It’s fast af, tastes great, easy to maintain, did I mention fast af? Like seriously, you can get 1 cup of water in like 2-3 mins, which compared to the Propur is just WOW!Things to note:- I only put enough water so that the filtered water doesn’t touch the bottom of filter. I don’t think this will affect the taste/quality but I just like being sure.- Make sure to give the filter a good THWACK on the top so that it stays secure to the housing and groove- Follow the directions on the manual. Like seriously!
