Best of Horus Heresy Antologies
When i see yet another HH anthology i roll my eyes so fast my head spin but this one is different.Aside from the Mars story all the stories are fun to read and they give you the feeling of Horus’ coming to Solar System. You can literally feel the silence before the storm. And the very last story “ The board is set” you must read it..The only thing bugged me is nearly all (but not all) authors seems to forget Vulcan is also on Terra.

Wonderful
Not collecting any audio books or shorts, this was all new to me.And uniformly, they are all very good! A great value for my money, and revealed bits to me that I did not know. Very enjoyable and easy to recommend to a Heresy fan. Great start with Myriad and close with The Board is Set. Practically crying with Malacador there.

Another anthology
Is another collection of short stories about the Horus Heresy. But has two extraordinarily good stories. The first one, about the Tabula Miriad, answers a little more about what happens in Mars. Something that I was wondering since the beginning of the saga. The second one, the best for me, is Honored Dead. It’s great, sad, nostalgic, dynamic, that kind of story you love the most. I didn’t even notice the time when reading it.

Aweseom Book
Some of the stories have the same plot, but other than that I thought it was awesome!!! One the last stories of "Dreams of Unity" gives you glimpse of past but also leaves the reader with a melancholy.

Great book
I loved it, I've been reading spool many HH books to geek to siege of Terra... This book really helps set the stage in a marvelous way.

Great book, worth the money
Book was awesome, especially the stories leading up to Horus's fleet entering the Sol system. The sense of dread was palpable on several of them.

The 11th Hour
This anthology ties up loose ends and also reveals what many key players are up to just prior to the Siege of Terra. The sense of dread and anticipation is felt in the final third of the stories.

Bloody good!
Best anthology in the series and an absolutely cracking read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it does exactly what it says on the tin, that siege is a coming!

Not what I was hoping it would be.
I don't know why I keep holding hope for these compilation novels, they never seem to really deliver. This is another one that was seemingly well reviewed by others, so I decided to give it a chance as I figured it would be about the beginnings of the siege of Terra. Nope, no battles on earth to speak of whatsoever, nor fights in the other systems even.I think that I'm probably running out of steam with the 'Horus Heresy' series, by the time it actually gets to the end, I will probably not care anymore after the consecutive poor books I've read over the last while. The series started out so well I thought, with only the occasional stinker, but now, it seems that it has reversed and they are largely stinkers with only the occasional gem.I guess maybe I've got my sights set too high, and assume every book can be as awesome as 'The Thousand Sons' or 'Prospero Burns' etc, alas, the vast majority of the characters in these HH novels are no where near as rounded or deep as Ahriman or Magnus, or Perturabo. I rarely feel emotionally invested in any of them anymore, sadly.

Banger! Solid short story collection
A lot of the short story collections have been on the weak side, but this one is good. Particularly like Magisterium, which follows on from Master of Mankind.

Heresy Series
Yet another excellent book in the Warhammer 40K Horus Heresy series. All short stories linking parts together for the final battle.
