Bitter, woody, gross, expensive
I thought this might be a reasonable alternative to fresh-ground for mountain hiking. It is not. It's gross. It tastes about as good as any other generic instant coffee. Whatever Starbucks tried to accomplish, they have failed.

Truly awful
I had great expectations of this coffee and bought this pack to try it before buying a larger quatity. It really is the most awful coffee I have had. It is very bitter, and very strong even though I made it in a large mug and I only just managed to finish it. The second sachet, I used only half the contents and added a little Kenco Millicano to it which improved things considerably.There is, of course, no accounting for taste but I can't understand the glowing reviews some have given. I shan't be buying any more.
