La Bella 900 Golden Superior/Golden Nyl

I wanted to write a review so people could get a balanced view of these strings. Some people really dislike them and say they are dull sounding. For me the lack of string noise makes these an absolute necessity for my playing (and particularly recording). As far as I'm aware the only other alternative are the D'addarios that are much more expensive (the ones John Williams uses). For me they sound warm and full bodied. The wound strings perhaps don't have a nice bright attack but I can live without that. If you can't abide string noise then these are a great option.

As much as i wanted to love these strings and don't like to write negative reviews, the absolute dullness of these totally useless strings pushed me to do so. If you want you beloved instrument sound like wooden box with washing line attached go ahead, otherwise I'd recommend to stay away of this product and keep searching.
