HANSAMuskrat Plush

For some reason after my wife mentioned possibly seeing a Muskrat while driving one time, my 4yr old son has been obsessed with muskrats. This one looks the most lifelike, is a little small but not too bad. It had been on my Amazon list for a while watching the price. When it finally dipped down to about $25 I nabbed it. Still not sure why these suckers are as expensive as they are, but a unique gift is worth it I guess. It has lifelike colors, hair, posable legs. Only negative is how much it cost for its size, but oh well. If you need a stuffed Muskrat toy this one is nice.

I used it as a gag gift had lots of fun with it they named him Mud rat Frank

Purchased as a gift for a grandchild, who likes soft and realistic-looking animals. The muskrat was carefully packaged with its whiskers carefully taped to prevent bending or breaking. Very cute and soft!

Very soft and cute. My wife has been asking for a muskrat for a long time; this, hopefully, will appease her for a bit.Sloppy labeling: the label lists it as a rat and gives a short description of rats' lives. Muskrats, however, are not rats. Not a deal breaker, but, their description says, "Teaching tag includes information on habitat, lifestyle, eating habits and more."

My parents have some muskrats living in a small pond area near the retirement complex where they live.They are able to watch them from their kitchen window.Being the "weird" animal loving daughter that I am, just had to buy this for them.THEY LOVED IT!My parents are 86 and 90 years YOUNG respectively!It looks very much like a muskrat, just a bit pricey that all.

I love all of the HANSA plush animals! This muskrat is so real looking that it is not to everyone’s taste, but great for my curio/gift shop! They are so awesome that adults love them as much as kids. As much of an art piece as a toy...

I purchased both the muskrat and the pigeon for my son for Christmas this year in what is becoming a burgeoning collection of “urban wildlife.” If I could somehow get a pustule ridden rat and a snarling raccoon coming out of a garbage can Hansa would be border on sculpture rather than playthings. My hat is, as always raised to you, Hansa.

We use this as an alternative creature for the Mouse in the House Christmas alternative to the elf on a shelf. My daughter ADORES this muskrat and will carry Morton around the house. He’s a quirky addition to our family!

Especially seen from behind, this plush toy really nails the muskrat attitude - shades of the Tove Jansson character perhaps, as well as an impressive level of attention to zoological detail. A pedant might say that the tail should be slightly flattened, unless this toy is in fact modelled on the less common Round-tailed Muskrat (a.k.a. Florida Water-rat). Either way round, a total cutie and beautifully made.

Das Plüschtier ist prima verarbeitet und wirkt insgesamt hochwertig. Interessant ist auf jeden Fall das Vorbild: Die "Wasserratte" entspricht einer Bisamratte. Ein Highlight ist neben der naturgetreuen Formgebung das Fell. Es sieht tatsächlich so aus wie auf dem Foto, man kann es so zurechtzupfen, dass es nach explodiertem Fön aussieht ;-)Ein neues Lieblingsstück in der Sammlung!

My daughter used to call herself muskrat when she was young so when she announced she and her husband were expecting this was the plush stuffy I wanted to give for my next grandchild. I loved how true to life it looked. I have seen lots as my husband used to trap muskrats. And my daughter got a real kick out of it. So everyone pleased.
