Melissa & Doug Order Up! Diner Play Set

I bought this as a joint Christmas gift for a 4 year old boy and his 1 year old sister. The older one loves creative dramatic play and I was wanting something they could share together. They both LOVED it!! They spent hours playing with immediately after receiving it and did not want to stop. It comes with so many great pieces (the "drink" pieces are hilarious) and the whole set is very creative and well made. I would definitely highly recommend this toy!!

It is cardboard, not plastic, so not as durable as it could be. But it all fits nicely into the box, which you couldn't get with plastic. Kids have had a lot of fun with it. The menu is laminated or something so it is more durable. I think it's going to hold up very well.

This is the cutest toy. Both my sons love to pretend to cook. This has two sides, the dining table side, and the grill side. They like to take turns being the chef and customer. I pretend to be the server. It comes with money, a menu, and a order pad, too, that are all wipable. The food looks like it's not done on one side, so they flip it over and it's cooked. A lot of thought went into making this toy set. We LOVE Melissa and Doug

The Melissa and Doug Order Up Diner Play Set is such a super cute toy. When my 3 year old little boy asked *Santa* for a toy restaurant for Christmas I felt stumped. Sure, I could get him a kitchen set but he already had one and frankly he knew the difference. I started scouring the internet looking for plastic fast food/diner type sets and everything was either very cheesy or way out of my price range. When I came across this diner play set from Melissa and Doug I took a chance. Melissa and Doug has always been good quality toys and I figured for the price - why not? It came shipped quickly (Seriously, it was over nighted days before christmas, and I chose 2 day shipping!). Upon opening on Christmas morning my son immediately knew it was a "restaurant". We have since played restaurant hundreds of times and he loves that each play food can be flipped over to go from uncooked/raw to cooked. The little chef hat and apron are an added plus. I would definitely recommend this to friends with toddlers that love to cook and love to play restaurant!

This toy is great, however, the box is intended to be used for part of the play and it needs to be constructed better. The first time we played with this, my son accidentally ripped the top corner of the cardboard box. It was disappointing because you need the box to serve as the "kitchen" and "restaurant" areas. We will just tape it or glue it and be very careful with it from now on.I still recommend this product because it is a wonderful, all-in-one kit that inspires imaginative play for a great price. Just know that grown ups should probably be opening the box to get out the pieces- not excited children.

We gave this to our 4 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. I think she will continue to grow into it because it includes money and prices for items on the menu that she doesn’t quite understand yet. I was a little surprised the food was cardboard but the pieces are well made and one side is uncooked and the other side is cooked which allows her to feel like she is cooking the food.

My kids and I absolutely love this toy! They love pretend play and this diner has thought of everything. There is an apron, chef hat, bell, menu, etc. plus the box has 2 sides and easy cleanup.I have been looking for pretend play to help get my kids off video games and I am so pleased to have found his. Melissa and Doug is my favorite toy brand and always always so clever and high quality.

Very fun. My 4 year old plays with this all the time. It's a great way to get their imagination going. We play restaurant multiple times a week. She's had it for 9 months and it's still pull out more than most of her toys. I also love that it has its own storage box. This is something that most Melissa and Doug toys don't have. I was pleasantly surprised by this.

Justo como se ve en la imagenes la relacion entre el costo y todo lo que incluye es muy buena. El gorrito le queda incluso a los adultos, para poder jugar con ellos!, mis sobrinos lo amaron!! Mi unica queja es respecto al envio la caja llego golpeada en una esquina.

Love this set as it has a menu that shows all the food items. I like how they made the food items. One side shows the raw looking and the other side is the cooked looking.

Es un set que está muy bien para hacer role-plays de restaurante.Los utensilios de plástico que lleva son de muy buena calidad.Como hace poco que lo tengo, no he comprobado la durabilidad del cartón de la caja, ya que sirve tanto de mesa como de cocina...Pero, en general, me gusta mucho el producto.

Great fun pack. My daughter has loved using it. Quite expensive, but does vary in price so worth looking out for price drops on Amazon. All packs away nicely and great for role play.
