Good product!
I would say this is more of a cuticle softener than a remover. However, it really works well to soften my cuticles and makes it easier to push them back. It has been great to do the night before I apply my press on nails and helps get dead skin off of my nail plate. My cuticles look a lot better too. The gel is a nice consistency and it's greasy or sticky either. Just be sure to wash your hands well with soap and water when you are done to avoid any irritation.

Time saver
This cuticle remover works incredibly well and makes at home manicures so much easier. You barely need any product, and it starts working almost immediately. After a minute or so, the cuticles push back effortlessly without any scraping or irritation. I love that it dries quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy or messy feeling behind. The aloe is a nice touch and helps keep everything feeling soft instead of dried out. It saves a ton of time and honestly gives salon level results at home. If you do your own nails, this is one of those products that’s absolutely worth having on hand.

Beware, can strip top layers of nail bed if using Kerasal
Be careful when using in conjunction with Kerasal. This stuff works really well. Almost too well. It 100% removes cuticles, it DOES NOT remove the proximal nail fold which is SKIN. It removes the CUTICLE underneath the proximal nail fold. That is what the cuticle is, the dry flakey white part that sticks to your nail. I don’t paint my nails regularly but I do keep my nails tidy and manicured by pushing my proximal nail folds back every couple of days. I shape once a week or less. And about once a month or so I like to remove the cuticles stuck to my nail plate. They’re hard to see, like a shiny stripe around the base of my nail where it meets the proximal nail fold. I’ve been using Kerasal for cracked heels (popular w nail techs) on this one area of my middle finger that has gets really crusty and hard and the skin splits. It’s where I rest my writing utensil. So I’ve been trying to rehab it. I used this cuticle remover like I do once a month with a wood orange stick and it legit stripped the top layer of that one area of my middle finger’s nail plate right off, the area I’ve been putting a lot of Kerasal on to rehab - since it gets on the nail plate and is messy to use. So be warned: try not to get Kerasal on your nails just your proximal nail fold and DON’T follow up the next day with cuticle remover. Maybe only use a qtip to apply. Maybe give your nail a week in between the use of Kerasal then use the cuticle remover. Maybe don’t use the Kerasal at all. Kerasal has salicylic acid in it which exfoliates and loosens up and softens thick skin so it helps the hard bits of skin on my fingers.

Must-have!
I will always keep this in my manicure kit! It works so well if you follow these steps: 1. Soak your nails in a bowl of warm water for 5-10 minutes (set a timer!). 2. Remove your hands from the water and pat dry. Then apply a thin layer of Sally Hansen Cuticle Remover to the cuticle area on each finger. Wait 15 seconds and then rinse it off (you can do this in the same bowl of warm water). 3. Using a cuticle pusher or wood stick made for cuticles, push back your cuticles and perform a gentle scraping motion on your nail, near the cuticle area. This will loosen and lift up any dead skin that may be stuck to your nail. Do this until each nail looks clean and free of excess cuticle. 4. If desired, use a cuticle clipper to remove excess skin. Be careful not to cut too much. If it hurts at all, you’re going too far. 5. Do a final rinse, pat dry, and then apply oil or cream to moisturize your cuticles. Done! Your nails will look pristine and professionally-groomed if you follow this routine.

Works like a dream!
I've been using this stuff for years! It's easy to apply, has no noticeable smell, and works really well. I love that it is gentle on your nails and makes removing my very quick growing cuticles a breeze. I simply just pick a hand and put in on my cuticles/nail beds then go back to the nail I started with and voila. Literally takes zero effort. No drips due to thick formula. I'd highly recommend this.
