Barnes and Noble BNTV400 Original House Wall Power Charger Plus USB Cable 4 Nook HD Tablet

Ordered this in September, re-ordered it at the end of March. After accidentally shutting the original cord in the car door, I ordered this cord. Right away there were issues: it did not plug into the Nook easily and the end got warm. I didn't use the Nook all that much since receiving the new cord, but it always had issues. After 4 use to recharge using this cord, the end piece with the USB port started getting very warm. On March 30th, I plugged the cord in to charge the Nook and after only charging the Nook from 12% up to 56%, the plug-in end started to get very warm then I unplugged the cord and noted that where the cord of USB connection are connected to the plug-in, the rubber was melting and the wires were showing. I let it cool down and today, I attempted to charge up the Nook again- the plug-in end by the USB was too hot to touch within 5 minutes. If I want to use my Nook, I have to buy another cord.

Ordered this in July and it won't work now at all. The wall charger will not stay plugged in and have to jiggle constantly. The cord is a piece of junk. It also has to be jiggled. I had previously order charger and cord from amazon and they worked a year or so. I do not recommend this product.

Bought this at the end of April and it did not charge my nook. Replaced the plug-in unit with a new one..still doesn't charge. Can't believe I paid this much for a cord and plug that have never worked . Should have checked with the seller, but figured I could try it on my own...not again, ledson learned. If you buy one of these, check it immediately.

My Nook HD + hadn't been charging correctly for months then finally wouldn't charge at all. IbOrdered this charger and it instantly began charging when I plugged it in. Works just as good if not better than my original one did when it was new.

Looks like a good item, but it turns out it's not what I needed. Returns weren't free, but it was easy.

Yes, I love it and I can use it myself as I am just so enjoying!

This is not an "original" Nook cable - it does not have the Nook emblem, it is much shorter than the original cable and the connection to the actual Nook device, while it does eventually fit, is different enough where pressure has to be applied. Way to expensive for a knock-off device. If it was a copy, it should say so and should be priced accordingly.

Cord kept falling apart from the base, returning this product.
