Excellent Table
We first purchased the Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. Picnic Table with Umbrella as a first table for our little grandchildren and loved it. It was time to get a larger one as another grandchild came along and other kiddos come over to play here so we bought this one. Both tables are excellent. The first one mentioned has a seat height of 9" which is great for 1-3 year olds (and some smaller 4's) and this one not only allows more children seated, but the seat height is about 12" so they can grow with it. The table is adorable, and very sturdy. It does not fold flat but can easily be brought inside through a regular door. I love the style and sturdiness of this one. It's easy for one person to move around as it is not heavy, but it is heavy enough to stay put in high winds. The umbrella has a locking unit under the table if you want to use it so it won't pull out. Either table is a great choice. The Little Tikes one I mentioned is a great "first" and this one is a great "grow up with" -- Great tables! Easy to assemble,

Perfect Kids Table For Parties!
I purchased this table for my sons 1st birthday party as seating for the little ones on our front porch. It arrived in two days and my husband spent about ten minutes putting it together. I love this table because it is sturdy and nice looking and it served it's purpose at our party. It is rather large which is great because it has a lot of surface area for food, drinks, crafts, toys, etc. I will continue to use it for the kids for many years I am sure. It seats a lot of children and has a pretty hefty weight limit. My nine year old nephew sat comfortably at the table with the other children at the party, I believe we had about eight kids at the table. I like the bench seat instead of a traditional table and chairs, so that you don't have to worry about the littler ones toppling over at the table. It was absolutely adorable to have place for all of the little ones to sit and eat together. I can't wait for our other parties and craft time for my kids because I plan on throwing a plastic table cloth over the table and doing some fun projects at the table. This is also going to perfect for the summertime by the kids pool and sand and water table that we have as well. I am sure that this table will last for many years.

A two person job
My husband and I just finished putting the Step 2 picnic table together. It took about 45 minutes and was not difficult, but you need 2 people to complete assembly. It does not have holes for the screws, so it took a bit of elbow grease to get them all in and I'm glad that was his job. The benches snap onto the base with a healthy bit of pressure and do it until you hear a snap. The grandkids haven't seen it yet, so no reviews on cleaning, the umbrella, or how they like it. The table seems sturdy, good sized, and able to handle 22 month twins and a 3 1/2 year old.

Great table for a wide range of ages
Our table just arrived a few days ago and we love it! It is a nice darker brown color and I like the faux rock base. I also like that the benches and table are the same color - the table doesn't look as much as a "toddler" table and has a nicer look that will last longer as my kids get older. I have a 6 yr old, 3.5 yr old and 20 month old that all sit comfortably at the table. The benches have grooves to designate 3 seats on each side. I couldn't imagine more than 3 kids on each bench, so to me the grooves are nice. The table and benches do have a lot of texture due to the wood grain look. I can see this becoming difficult to clean if you let spills dry in the grooves, but with it being plastic and outside... A hose works fine to clean off! The table comes with a huge umbrella that can be adjusted for height and can also be removed. A plug came as well to cover the umbrella hole if the umbrella isn't used - so great! It's just a nice, high quality table at a great price and love that it can fit all my kids and some so easily. I highly recommend!!

Heavy, pretty sturdy, so far so good
After one month of mostly indoor use, time will tell: Assembly under one hour. Not for the inexperienced; there are no holes, just small indentations. Directions are vague. If you can handle IKEA, you'll be fine. Grandma had no issues thanks to Grandpa, who provided one "steadying" hand and a lot of suggestions during timeouts and commercials. There is no need whatsoever for power tools. The one we got had clearly been returned because box was poorly sealed and nothing secured inside. Happy to have an extra umbrella though (?).A little pricey maybe? and ugh painful buying plastic, but we were not interested in a one-season outdoor toy. Our two grandkids love it. One month in, highly recommend.

Nice little table - use vinyl to make a smooth surface.
First of all, this was purchased as a housewarming gift for our 20-month-old grandson who lives across the country from us, so I really don't know how much it is used. It arrived while we were visiting immediately after they moved, and it was fairly easy to put together. It's a really cute table, seems well made and sturdy, and the umbrella provides sun protection. I remember reading all the reviews before we chose it, and I and our daughter-in-law were a bit hesitant since reviewers complained about the rough surface on the table not being good for drawing and coloring. We ended up buying a piece of heavy duty clear vinyl in the Walmart fabric department. The table still shows through it, but it's thick enough to obliterate any rough surface, and we left a generous overhang. When we left, with the kids still unpacking, the cover had not yet been used, so other than cutting a hole in it to put the umbrella through, I don't know what else she ended up with to anchor it. I would think you could figure some way to use elastic with clips on both ends to run underneath the table to the edge of the vinyl on both sides or around the table legs - sort of like the little suspenders you see for attaching kids gloves to their coat sleeves. And I'm sure there are other ways as well.
