Durable Plastic Hangers
I prefer to have velvet covered hangers in the closets. They look better and tend to be better in terms of hanging clothes. My 16 year old son, however, manages to break multiple hangers each week no matter what kind I buy him and I was sick of replacing expensive hangers for him when no one else in the house has this problem. These looked nice enough for his closet and at a price that I don't mind them being somewhat disposable. They've actually exceeded my expectations. They are holding up better than the velvet hangers we get for the other closets even if they don't look as nice. I'm fine with that. It's a 16 year old boy's closet. It doesn't need to look perfect as long as I'm not wasting good hangers every week.

Perfect for improving space usage
When we downsized, we were stuck with a two-tier closet bar system. Although this works for shirts in theory, in practice the upper row of shirts drag on the lower bar and the lower row of shirts drag on the floor. These hangers provide an essential extra couple of inches. Very helpful! I just wish they weren't so expensive.

Hangers are of quality construction and materials. Added 2+ inches of clearance below the garments. Perfect for my application.

Look beautiful. Just what I wanted. DIMENSIONS
These are slim so don't take up space. They look GREAT in my closet. Here's more dimensions info. Some rods are placed TOO close to the ceiling for all but the cheapest hanger. I have 1 3/4" between rod and shelf above (plenty of room). Bottom interior width is 14" or tad less so I have no trouble hanging slacks over. For wide scoop neck garments (unless have sewn-in loops for which there are 2 notches on each side of bottom of these hangers) and skirts, you may need to add a different style hanger.

measurements are wrong
These are 15" wide, not 17" - Too narrow for normal adult blouses. Fix your listing description!

These are ok. I really like the old ones better. If I hadn't had the previous model I would probably like them better. The hooks sort of get hung up.

My favorite hangers.
We bought these from Ikea previously but it is so convenient to be able to get them from Amazon. I love these hangers. PROS: They are not bulky. They are flexible enough to not break if accidentally pulled or twisted. Clothes stay on but come off when you want them to. (Some of the felt or velvet type hangers hold onto the clothing too well -- so that it is hard to remove a garment from the hanger.)
