Works great. Easy install as long as you can get the pin out of the hinge. once you do that it'll only take a minute of fiddling with it to figure out where to adjust it.It doesn't prevent the door from opening, but it adds resistance to the door as if it should not be opened past a certain point. Works great.As far as I can tell this is the same model as the other ones that are priced two to three times higher here on Amazon.

Simply to install and nice replacement. Can hardly see it.

I have mixed feelings about these doors stops. First, I love the design and the fact that they are somewhat hidden. However, because we have large 1 x 4 door trim, the stop hits the trim instead of the hinge. This creates a small indention in the trim. Also, it is more of a softer stop and because it hits the wood, if the door is opened aggressively, the handle will hit the wall.

It takes a few minutes to get the door stop set up correctly. The web-site installation video was helpful (of course another paragraph and picture in the instruction sheet would have probably done the trick as well).It does add about an inch to the overall hinge-pin stack -- I will probably get a longer hinge pin.Overall happy with the product -- doesn't require something be screwed into the door/moulding and doesn't damage soft moulding.

I had high hopes for this as a stylish, unseen way of keeping a door from slamming into the wall behind it. I have a small table that prevents a door from opening entirely against the wall - it gets about 8" from the wall before hitting the table. I wanted to prevent damage to the door or the table in case the door is ever flung open.1. The various settings on this do not allow for any kind of minute variation. Right now, either the door can slam against that table, or moving the bushing over one spot, the door doesn't open past halfway. That's a drastic, drastic difference. You cannot dial it down so that the door will stop right before the door. It's basically either...the door won't open, the door will open halfway, or the door will open all the way...no small "dialing in" for anything else.2. Due to the height of this device, the hinge pin that slides back into it now doesn't go through the bottom two hinge interlocks, weakening the integrity of the entire door and the hinge.3. When the door "stops" due to this device, even the slightest push against the door just causes this thing to start ripping away the wood of the trim around the door.It's so cheap it's not even worth the trouble of sending back. But it's also so cheap that you shouldn't expect it to serve any purpose or do anything that it says - because it doesn't.

This provided an elegant solution to our guest powder room outswing door in the entrance foyer, since we didn’t want one of those rubber bumper versions on the door or baseboard or on the hinge itself. Very unobtrusive and easy to install. When first placing it, don’t push the hinge pin all the way back in so that you can take it out if you need to adjust the stopper. Works well for our purposes.

I really think this product would’ve worked for me if my hinge pin was longer. I took the pin out of my hinge on my door, put this on, and then put the pin back into the hinge with this product on and realized that the original pin in my door hinge was not long enough to cater to this product. You would have to go get a longer door hinge pin to use this product because I had standard size door hinges for my interior doors, and it would just not work with the ones that I had

This was the only design I could find to limit my door from hitting a the wall that was at a 90 degree angle from the door. I got 3 thinking I would need them on each hinge of my heavy kitchen door, but found that using just one on the center hinge is working fine. I thought I might need to install a longer hinge pin but found the hinge seems to be working fine. I don't slam or kick my doors open with any force, so I don't know if they would fail under abuse. An added bonus is that the design makes it almost invisible.
