Fuel iON Samsung S5 Magnetic Wireless Charging System, Case with Stand - Charges Faster and More Efficiently Than Qi Wireless Chargers.

I can't believe how well this works, how well it seems to be made; it was a SCREAMIN' deal at the $11 or $12 price I paid. I use it every single night. Do note that it reduces your phone's water-resiliency.Also, it's "wireless" but is acutally using physical contacts with the phone to charge...which is GREAT because the result is that it has all the simplicity/ease of wireless without the slower charging that is the downside of wireless charging.

Simple, if somewhat overstated product. This isn't "wireless" by any stretch.You remove the cover of your Samsung S5 and replace it with this cover which has a magnetic resistance coil built into it. When you plug the stand into a wall outlet, it closes the circuit and charges your phone. That's all. No magic.The advantage is it doesn't require anything to be plugged into the goofy power port on the S5 which has been significantly upgrraded on the S6. It looks prettier to have the S5 held in place with a magnet. Does it charge faster? Who knows, that's rather a dubious claim.The case will not protect the face of the phone: you'll need a separate product for that. This is strictly a charging adapter. It's about the same price as any other charging cradle.When installed, you have access to the regular charging port, so if you're away from the cradle, you can still charge it with the cable.Just remember to remove the Samsung S5 cover before putting this cover on or it won't work.

Charging port quit working in my s5. Rather than pay $100 to get it fixed I bought the iON charging system. Very happy with my decision! The case fits nicely and magnetizes to the stand without issues. The system charges my phone faster than a cord ever did. Very pleased with this cheap, efficient alternative!! 10/10, would recommend, would buy again!

Charging ability is top notch, case fitment not so much. Here is how I improved mine. Works for the S5, don't know about the rest.1 Put whiteout or measure where the fuel pins would touch the stock S5 case, mark it.2 Carefully drill through the stock case so the pins can come through. Two small holes.3 Press a small roll of tin foil into the holes you made. Don't use too much and make sure the don't touch.4 Put stock case on phone, put fuel case over top, fits pretty tight. Might have to work it some.5 Charge it as normal on magnetic charger. You might need to adjust the tinfoil if it doesn't show charging, or if you remove either case.I don't know if this makes IP67 but it fits much more securely.Three stars before, four and a half after.

As for the IP67 water resistant rating. I bought a "SaBuCell - Replacement Rubber Seal Waterproof Gasket For Samsung Galaxy S5 Back Cover" and installed it. Dipped the phone in water for about 15 seconds, without the battery to test it, and there was no water within the sealed area. It was a little difficult trying to figure out where to position the gasket. From the flat part of the inner sides was about 5 mm from each side and about 13 mm from the opening on the stock charging port.

Charges my phone to 100% quickly. It is so much easier to just place the phone on the charging stand rather than having to try to connect it to the original plug. My female connection on my S5 was damaged. Amazon wanted $149 to replace the phone which otherwise was fine. This was $12 well spent.

First tried it on my iPhone 5S years back, fell in love with this charging system, and now bought a second for a Samsung. Never want to go back to the lame rituals of plugging and unplugging stuff everyday. Too bad they don't seem to have been active enough to make it for any newer phones. One less star because I'm skeptical if the Galaxy S5 remains waterproof when swapped into this case.

Das Produkt funktioniert ansich einwandfrei, leider ist es aber so, dass durch den Eingebauten Magnet im Akkudeckel der Kompass meines Galaxy S5 nicht mehr richtig funktioniert. Das Laden ging um einiges schneller als mit dem Wireless charger.Vielleicht sollte man bei dem Produkt den Magneten nur in die Ladestation einbauen und stattdessen ein ferromagnetischisches Material in den Akkudeckel einbauen.
