Let's me breathe and see, and can take heavy shots.
I'm actually on this page to buy my second one of these as I just lost the first and am mid camp. I can't say this enough, but, I HATE wearing headgear. Whether for grappling or striking, I can't stand the claustrophobic vibe they give. When I first started doing Muay Thai smokers, I needed them for comp and so I bought a very high end $120 model that was amazingly sturdy and snug, etc. but I could not breathe right in it. I can breathe in this, and have about as good of a peripheral vision as one could hope with headgear on. I generally compete at 205lbs but am really a middleweight, but with that said, I've gotten lit up by some 205lb pro's wearing this, and I can say it at least does a good enough job to keep my nose/jaw in place, and keep me off the floor.

Great Head Gear for Sparring
This is my first head gear that I purchased for boxing. This a great product for the price. There are a few things that I noticed while wearing it. I'll break it down into pros and cons.Pros:1. You can see very well during sparring2. It protects most of your face from cuts and/or bruises3. Chin Strap is pretty durable4. Does not feel cheap whatsoever.Cons:1.) It gets a little sweaty after heavy use (absorbs the sweat too much)2.) Limitations on adjustments3.) Ear holes are a little too tight, but manageable. All in all, this is a great product to have and for the price, it's a steal.

Great set of headgear!!
Have used this with bare knuckles and gloves. It pads very well and you still have periphery vision. This can be used in most competition events whereas many others can't be. The others that are greatly limit vision and give the same and sometimes alot less protection. Thank goodness its so affordable . that is a huge factor.

better than nothing, but barely
It will cover your face, but you'll feel the punches about the same as not wearing anything. Also, cheek guards don't give much protection from taking shots to the eyes/nose. Get something better if you can afford it. I bought Winning headgear after I tried this and they are 1000% better and worth way more than over 2x cost. Protect your head properly!

Great bang for your buck!
This headgear is truly a bang for your buck! Let me first start with the headgear itself. The cushion and protection it offers if top-notch. The two areas on either side of the jaw/cheek offer very good protection. However, that's not to say that you don't feel the hits, because you do. I sparred several times with this headgear and it allows for both you and your partner to get a good workout/sparring session in. That's the best part about this headgear, you feel it, and thus you kind of get a little bit of what it's like to hit (obviously nothing like the real thing) while still protecting the integrity of your face! It offers sufficient protection and allows you to practice hard as well, the perfect combination! In addition, the straps on this headgear is very well made. You can adjust them as much as you need, which allows for a comfortable fit, and it limits the amount the headgear moves/wiggles when you get hit. Now to the price. I mean, you really can't beat the price. For about $25 per headgear, you get a high-quality piece of equipment that will certainly last you. This is a win-win!

Some Flaws
After using it for a couple rounds, I quickly noticed that the thinness of the headgear was a slight problem. Honestly it does not protect you as much as their older versions because of the thin padding used. It is an eh product for the price. 3/5

I do not recommend.
Returned it for better quality headgear. After I took a look at it when it arrived I immediately put it back in the box. With this product you definitely get what you pay for, it's on the cheaper end for headgear so the materials feel that way, kind lacking in the padding and the stitching already had too many loose threads.

Protection for the head, minus the chin
Yes, it will still hurt if you get hit in the head. This will only reduce the impact. It's better to use this than to get a concussion from getting hit too hard. Field of vision minorly reduced from the side.No chin protection so watch out for uppercuts!

Bueno

Pretty good. Overall good protection while allowing agile movements
Pretty good. Overall good protection while allowing agile movements. It limits peripheral vision only slightly, but it is more of a trade-off than a problem. Padding on the back of the head, which is a nice thing to have. Need to work with a pair of gloves.

Muy bien
Es ajustable, así que si me quedo bien, prefiero esto que andar usando el equipo que prestan porque me da menos asco ! Buena calidad del producto y llego a tiempo

Buenos materiales
Es unitalla se supone para adulto, pero con los ajustables le quedó perfecto a mi hijo de 9 y le funciona bastante bien para sus entrenamientos. El interior es suave y no se queda el sudor.
