DisneyMickey and Minnie Mouse Drawstring Backpack Plus Lanyards with Detachable Coin Purse

I bought these for our family vacation to Disneyworld for my kids to keep all their travel entertainment in (coloring books, water, snacks, crayons, etc.). I was surprised when they came how small they were. I guess I didn't pay attention to measurements. But you cannot fit a regular coloring book in it and be able to close it up. And for how small they are, the pull strings are really long- though that wasnt a big deal, we just tied them to the right size for each of my kids. All that being said- they do seem very durable. They are made from a sort of canvas material, very tough- not the real cheapy kind. We went on our trip over a year ago and still have the bags without any problems. We have found other uses for them (over night bags for Nana's house, snack bags for outings, etc.). So I would recommend these, just check the size measurements and then keep in mind that it is a drawstring top so that ends up making it shorter when it is closed!

My family recently went on a Disney cruise and I ordered the Disney Mickey and Minnie Mouse drawstring backpacks plus lanyards with matching detachable coin purses as surprise gifts for my children. They loved them! The backpacks were big enough for them to hold several goodies (toys, candy, autograph books, etc.) but small enough that they didn't weigh them down. Because he's a little taller, the backpack probably fit my 11-year-old a little better than my 2-year-old, but once I tightened the straps hers fit fine. The backpacks were also big enough that and adult could use them. My kids also enjoyed their matching lanyards, which were big enough to hold their room key cards and money. And even though I didn't let them use it, there is place to hold a picture ID on the back. My only complaint is that they smelled terrible when they first arrived. Terrible!! Fortunately, they shipped so fast that I had a few days to air them out. I think the quality is very good. Much better than I anticipated. Definitely worth the money (2 backpacks AND 2 lanyards). I would definitely order these again and would recommend them to parents who want to surprise their kids or adults who want to be kids again!

Perfect for our trip to Disneyland. Our son and daughter could easily carry around their own crap. Sweatshirts, water bottles, souvenirs, etc.The coin purses on the lanyards were awesome. We gave them each $5 worth of quarters and some pennies so they could collect pressed pennies throughout the parks. They also got pins for the lanyards.All in all, a most excellent purchase.PS: We did end up shortening the strings on the backpacks to fit better. No biggie.

So before I ordered these bags, I read a few reviews that mentioned a plastic odor. Against my better judgement, I ordered them anyway thinking it must not be that bad. Most reviewers who mentioned the smell still gave a fairly high rating so it must not be that bad right? Wrong! The smell was so bad I got them out of my house immediately. I put them in the garage and several hours later my entire garage smelled like toxic plastic smell. I don't want to give them to my kids because I'm concerned about the chemical exposure (and I'm usually not overly sensitive that sort of thing). I was also afraid they would smell up everything else in the luggage like they did my garage. Not worth saving a few bucks for!Also, my cat, who has this weird obsession with chewing plastic (don't worry crazy cat people, the vet says she's otherwise healthy) went absolutely bezerk trying to get these bags. So, I consider it verified by an independent, unbiased third party that these bags probably contain an excessive amount of gross plastic chemical.

I got these for my son (9) and daughter( 3) for our Disneyland trip last spring and they were great. The draw stings on the backpack are a little long for kids, but I just tied them up and they worked perfectly. You could probably also trim them a bit with scissors. They are very durable, and the kids still use them months later. The lanyards were great, and perfect size for the kids to hold their tickets and some coins or money.

These were very affordable bags and cute. The kids liked them. As the other reviewers stated, the smell is pretty bad on the bags. We had them sitting out in the open to air out for 2 weeks prior to leaving for our trip to Disney and they still had a very strong plastic smell. We ended up not using them at Disney World but only because we didn't need to. We'll use them in the future for pool trips, etc. Hopefully the smell will subside at some point.

These bags are cute but VERY small. Got them for a Disney cruise but they barely fit sunglasses and a water bottle with maybe a little snack. Fine for the 4-year-old but the looks really tiny on the 7-year-old :) Also, they have a distinct odor to them when unpackaged that cleared up only after I left them on the patio overnight.
