Love the warmth, length, and ease of getting baby in
Love these vests! Put the claim that it's organic aside (because chances are it's not), it's so handy to have around in Spring, Fall, and Winter.1. It's lightly padded, so it keeps our daughter warm. Since she is on her tummy most of the time, it helps to keep her stomach warm which is quite important in Chinese culture for health reasons.2. It's longer than other vests on the market which is also very helpful because when she is moving around and the clothes are bunching up as a result, her upper body is still entirely covered.3. The snaps are so much more convenient than trying to button or unbutton your squirmy child. Also helps that the vests are sleeveless. It's a nightmare trying to feed your child's arms through the sleeves on a sweatshirt when they won't hold still!4. Ignore the English labels and descriptions because it's really just standard messaging copied and pasted. The Chinese labels indicate that the outer and inner surface are cotton and the fill is polyester. Before you turn up your nose at this fact, note polyester fill is so common. It's in a lot of American brand clothing and sleep sacks. For example, the Gap kimono winter jacket and the Halo winter weight sleep sack.5. The Chinese label also says machine wash in gentle cycle in cold water and hang to dry. It says do not bleach, put in the dryer, or dry clean. I put them in a wash bag if mixed with other clothes in the washer and I would wash with like colors, you know, how you would treat adult laundry. I also avoid mixing it with very linty items like towels.6. Note because the vests have an insulation layer and hence hinders air flow (a key in protective clothing), it will take longer to air dry. Once the outer layer is dry, I would turn it inside out and let the inner layer dry. Before you start saying, man, that's a lot of work, that's exactly what I have to do for the Halo winter weight sleep sack too. I put the sleep sack in the dryer and if I don't turn it out half way through, it won't be dry even after 60 minutes.7. At the time of purchase, my baby was 29.5 inches and 23.5 lbs. The 18 to 24 months fits her and still allows room to grow and room for her to wiggle around.8. When purchasing, be careful if the item you selected is fulfilled by Amazon or by seller. Different sizes and style will switch fulfillers depending on quantity available. If you want it fast, then choose the ones that are fulfilled by Amazon (i.e. shipped from USA). If you like a certain style and it's fulfilled by seller, chances are it will take a while since it's shipped from China.

Cozy baby essential
I bought size 6-9m for a 3mo who is 50th percentile height/weight. It's big on her but I love it because I can put it over her sleeper/one-piece to keep her cozy. The material is like a soft thick sweatshirt. You can kinda feel the batting inside between the layers but I don't think that'll be a problem. It comes with a tag and in a branded bag (in case you're sending as a gift). The animals are cute. I think snap vests in general are the best baby gift ever - totally essential. They keep baby warm, can be put on without the hassle of getting hands through sleeves, and are small enough you can keep in a diaper bag without much added weight just in case, and you don't have to deal with zippers poking or buttons. I'm posting a photo of the 6-9 month size compared with the 18-24 months. I'm also posting a photo of the size chart and washing instructions that came with the item.

shrunk after washing
Shrunk at least 1 to 2 sizes after washing, I purchased the vest in 2T/3T, because I have a big baby, my baby is 30 lbs at 15 months old. So she always wears 24 months to 3T clothing, depending on the size. Before I washed it, it fits well on her with a little room to grow, but it shrunk alot after washing, it fits like a 24 months infant size vest now. What can I say, it is cotton, it will shrink, but I will suggest to go at least 1-2 sizes up, so it can still fit after washing.

Love this vest
My baby is 5 months and weighs 20 pounds so I ordered 12 months and it fits her well. There is still room to grow. The length sits right past her waist. Plenty of room around the shoulder. It's soft and padded. The snaps make it easy. I washed it and it didn't shrink. I love it .

Great vest, keeps warm but not overly hot
I got this for my 7mo old (who is now almost 9mos) because she was going through a phase of hating anything going over her head or that we’re long-sleeved. But since it’s winter we needed something to keep her warm and we love this! Since it’s a vest, we sized up so she could wear it longer and it was perfect with lots of room to grow. Could probably wear it into next winter. It is super cute, subtle and easy to mix and match clothing. Highly recommend.

I purchased the striped brown vest in 9-12months. My baby is 6 months and 19 lbs and the 9-12months is slightly large but as expected since I wanted him to grow into it. It looks warm and cozy but I don't know if this is truly organic. In addition the tag was OUTSIDE of the vest, not inside. So he has the tag with the cleaning instructions outside. It doesn't look right. I know I can cut the tag but I mean I am paying for this vest, right?

Looks like the picture.
Vests are hard to come by for babies. They are either too bulky or too thin. My baby hates being overbundled and refusee jackets. This vest does the job in keeping her warm in the cold mornings and letting her wear a long sleeve onesie. Not very fashionable for a day out. But practical for day to dat home use. Stitching is decent and the buttons are decent. Not overly soft. If you are looking for very soft... this is not the vest for you.

Great quality!
Perfect for my 8 month old so she can use for a long time. I bought a size meant for a 24 month old for this purpose. My daughter hates long sleeves so this is great instead of a bulky jacket. We use this every day around the house.Quality is great as I've had this now for several months and continues to look as good as new after weekly washes. I hand wash stains with Ozy lean then run it through the washing machine.

Nice gilet
This is a nice little gilet for a bit of added warmth. Washes well, doesn't bobble up and feels soft. A little strange that the washing instruction label is on the outside, not inside - just a minor thing.

Fits true to size and useful extra layer
Fits true to size and useful extra layer. Only comment is that it takes an age to dry compared to other clothes that go through the same wash. I have a feeling the internal padding is not cotton.
