What I like…it’s metal, has plenty of cold shoe mounts, and it looks nice. What I don’t like is no matter which way you mount it (forwards or backwards) you can’t reach your evf. Understandable when the handle is pointing towards rear of the body, but the design causes the same issue when mounted towards the lens. My version also has quit a bit of play left and right when attached and tightened as much as I can.

Adds a much needed handle to my HF G50, while also getting my shotgun mic with dead cat high enough to stay out of the frame at full wide zoom. Exactly what I needed.

Used on a C70. Walking around, holding the handle, the screw to tighten down the hotshoe clamp eventually loosened and the camera dropped from my hand. Thankfully I caught the external monitor to slow the fall, but that ended up damaging the HDMI cable, and the body fell on the lens. No damage to the lens or the body. BUt I won't be using this handle again. Can't rely on it to stay clamped down.

It's a great handle, and high quality. In the world of prosumer gear, it's not a bad value. I also loike that I can toss it on a tripod or light mount. Very nice.It's about 19mm too shallow for average US male hands though. Maybe you enjoy a knurled nut rubbing into your knuckles, but I just do not.Also, everything past the drop on the handle should be drilled through and threaded. This is a huge oversight. I end up running mine upside down to mount it, which takes a bunch of cold shoe conversions. Just DRILL through and THREAD the last 3-4 holes.For the price this should have been a given. One magical star removed for this.

It fits great on my 90D. I was afraid it start loosing up when using, but it’s actually pretty tight and sturdy, I can mount my monitor and mic without a problem.

I purchased this handle as a method to obtain low shots with my Canon Vixia HF G30 camcorder. I use the camera to self-film hunts and other outdoor activities. I looked at other handles; however, most were made of plastic, and I was concerned they would not hold up under rugged conditions. This handle has met all of my expectations and then some. Because it is metal, the handle is very cold in the winter months, but that is what gloves are for. I would highly recommend this.

So far I’ve been very happy with this handle - feels good in my hand, price was right, and lots of mounting options if you have screws. The only drawback I’ve found is that the mounting screw doesn’t always seem to stay tight. I’ve not yet felt like the camera was going to slide off, but I’m not 100% comfortable with the tightness

I really like the way this handle feels in the hand. It feels like a high quality unit. I love that it has a cold shoe mount. My only gripe is the screw is a little hard to get really tight so there can be a little play unless you get it tightened down. I wish it had a rubberized screw like the Joby ball heads. Other than that, I am super stoked to have this for run and gun filming.

It is well made but has 2 problems - When you hold the handle all the threaded holes are blocked by your hand ; and there should be a cold shoe on the back. 2nd - To be great it would need a split base to allow the user to move the mount point forwards to balance the Camera/Monitor/lens - my Sony Camera is OK until I add a lens - then the whole rig tips forwards a LOT as the handle is too short on the lower side mount bar - needs to be 30~40mm longer where it mounts to the camera..

Lo uso con Monitor, micrófono y transmisor wireless... todo funciona perfecto.

Even when tightened down as much as possible there was significant side to side play on the mount and in all other mounts I tried
