The Stone Edition of the Chumash: The Torah, Haftaros, and Five Megillos With a Commentary Anthologized from the Rabbinic Writings

The writing is smaller than I thought, but we still enjoy the read.

This five-volume set of chumashim is a great addition to any Jewish home. The typesetting on both Hebrew and English content is very clean and easy to read, yet the books are compact enough to be used for self-study, or as a supplement to your synagogue's Shabbat chumash (assuming they don't use Artscroll already) Translation is more in line with today's vernacular, especially compared to the classic Soncino/Hertz, and the Hebrew page also includes Rashi's commentary (which in many places is referenced in the accompanying English notes.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the print is pretty small. Nicely laid out, however on each page. Nice binding. I would suggest a medium-sized "fresnel magnifying sheet to go with this so you can move around the page easily. Not sure why the set could be not slightly bigger to be standard book size.

I love the compact size; I am 65 and the print is small, but very readable. I will order the full size edition for daily use.

so i bought magnifying glass it helps these 5 volumes are hard back and binding seems well im not Jewish but i do know who the true G-D is and these help me understand him and his people
