Smokehouse 100% Natural Piggy Slivers Dog Treats

Here's the thing: dogs love pig ears more than any treat I have ever found, but a whole pig ear contains an awful lot of sodium. And...have you ever tried to cut a smoked, dried pig ear, which is how they're sold, into pieces? I already know my poor hands would lose that struggle. So for Ox the impossible giant beagle puppy, training is important, and goodness knows, he needs it, but I want this dog to live a long, long time, and what we feed them early in life can make a difference. Giving him a little strip of pig ear is both cheaper and healthier, and I do believe he is just as happy with a piece of piggy ear as he would be with the whole gigantic thing.So this time, instead of ordering one package of these things, I ordered 4 bags, and now I should be set till after the holidays. I give him other treats in between that have less sodium, but when I really want to make an impression, this is what I use.

Great, I love the small pcs, as my teacup chihuahuas can eat them. I would recommend these for small dogs.I ordered more,Update: The first time to order, price was one thing, the second time I ordered it went up one dollar more per bag. And was only about 10 days. Then I was going to order more, they had went up two dollars per bag. So I am looking again for a better price. I am a senior disabled lady, on fixed income. But I do like to give my babies some treats.

My five month old Doberman loves these! It's not a full pig ear as it is more like a skinny piece of ear but it is very tasty and my dog absolutely love these!

I was buying whole pigs ears and cutting them up myself. These are slightly on the pricey side, but worth saving my hands.They are the perfect size to crack in half lengthwise by hand and give one half to each of my rescue chihuahuas who had to have lots of bad teeth pulled when they were rescued.Both my chis clearly like these better than the ears I have tried before.

My dog is fairly picky about what she will eat. I had been buying the wild boar ears before I purchased these, but they were a little too big for her because she is a smaller sized dog. She typically weighs between 20 and 25 pounds. These are a little smaller than other pig ears that I have purchased in the past but my dog does not choke on these pig ears like she does with the larger ones. Remember that these are natural pig ears, so they do vary some in size and shape. My dog just loves these treats and I plan on purchasing more of these in the future. I highly recommend these!

These are a great treat for my 25lb Eskie! There are a lot so the bag lasts longer than the 20 piece bag, but the pieces are also generally a little smaller. Some of the ends/corners are slightly curled, very hard and somewhat sharp, which will cause her to periodically yelp on the littler pieces that hit her pallet - but it doesn't stop her from readjusting and chewing them through. I'm just not sure I would be comfortable giving or recommending these smaller pieces to a larger dog who could just try to swallow them, as I think those ends could be problematic if not properly chewed. As stated, in my experience, the 20 piece bag contains pieces that are bit bigger with more slivers and less corners so the product over-all, is great.

I have a Lab and a Boxer and got these for them since they love pig ears. After a couple of days they both got sick and had allergic reactions. Swelling, raw snouts - always rubbing on the ground - lethargic. So I went to the vet thinking they were sick from something else. She said the pig ears did it! Said she has seen this before with cheap ones. These were much greasier than local bought ones too. Too bad, it was a good price.

I was nervous reading some reviews that these would be greasy and messy but they were fine. You dont want them totally dry so yeah, there's a little moisture to them but not stopping and gross like some made it seem. My dog loves them! Oh, also, yeah, they stink, what dog treat smells good? It's not bacon guys.
