nuLOOMnuLOOM Odell Faded Vintage Area Rug, 10x14, Ivory

I ordered 2 of the "Ivory" 2×3 accent rugs, which are supposed to be ivory/gray. They literally look NOTHING like the online photo. The areas that are "gray" almost look like a weird green color in person and there's a bright blue mixed in, which is not evident in the online photos at all. And the "design?!" It is non-existent. To top it off, the rugs look and feel cheap. Beyond disappointed. These will be returned immediately.

I've had this rug for about six months now, and I have ZERO complaints. The rug is so plush and soft, vaccums easily, hides cat hair (and I have THREE cats), and has impressive stain resistance. I spilled black coffee on the floor a few months ago and basically watched my life flash before my eyes as it soaked into my ivory and white rug! Luckily, I got the stain up with dish soap, hot water, and vinegar, and you cannot even tell what happened! I love this rug so much, and I recommend it to anyone!

This rug is beautiful! The packaging wasn't very resilient and had tears in the plastic, but no damage to the rug was done. It's an inch shorter than 12ft, and I had to trim the rug pad I have underneath. The night after unrolling it, the bumps had already mostly worked its way out. I can tell the ends won't stay folded up very long, but I did put chairs and furniture around to hold them down.I included a picture taken in the day and night time to show the color. It's not as yellow of an ivory as the other ivory rug that I bought, which I like a lot more. The design is a very cool-tone gray, which kind of clashes with my warm greige walls, but I'm keeping the rug anyway because I love it so much!It feels fairly soft to walk on, but I laid down to play with my nine-month-old, and it's a little scratchy while leaning on your elbows. I'll probably put a quilt down for her to play on.Overall, my husband and I are both pleased with the purchase! The vintage look is not as prominent as the picture, but I'm happy with the rug and its pretty design.

Decent quality for the money. Came with no imperfections and packaged in thick plastic. It IS a tiny bit more blue-ish than the photos, so if you're looking for a true gray, this may not be it for you.Updated to remove a star because this has been rolled out for four days and it still isn't laying flat. After receiving a different rug for another room, this one feels scratchy compared to it and the new one layed flat in less than 24 hours. They costed about the same and are the same size, but this one is definitely poorer quality. I'm attaching a screenshot of the second rug (the better quality one) in case it helps you find a better rug for the same money.

Got this for a wonderful deal on Black Friday and now I’m waiting for another one because it’s so beautiful. People always comment on how pretty it is when we have it in the background of pics. It is a bit low, but That doesn’t bother me. It also seems to hide the door traffic pretty well too overall. We have 3 small kids and so far it’s hanging in there! 😅 Love it though!!! I need another one for my kitchen. Don’t mind the random pics, they’re only ones I could find and I’m away from it.

All in all a good serviceable rug for the money. I was not expecting anything fancy. This is not a thick rug, you will need a pad to add some thickness. I ordered the “Ivory “ , which is a cool toned ivory background with pale gray design. The back ground is a good neutral which does not have yellow undertones, but more cool neutral. The gray design does lean more to a cool gray blueish color. It reads a cool neutral, not wam toned at all. This worked for me. However , I ordered what I thought would be 2 matching 2 x 3. Rugs in ”Ivory “ , only to be shipped rugs with labels that read “Ivory w/ /blu e “. That description was not even a listed choice on the Amazon website. Horrible with blue ( very blue) and yellow designs. Good thing I can take them to Kohl’s as a return. Not sure what happened. You can go to the NuLoom website and order directly , but most rugs are more highly priced there.

Gorgeous coloring and pattern. I have another rug from the same company/brand, that feels thicker and more plush, which is why I purchased this one, so I'm docking a star for that. This one is definitely thinner. But the pattern and colors are beautiful, it cleans up nicely, and is in a higher traffic area. I needed something easier to clean than the thick shag that was there previously. I have carpet padding underneath it, and bc it's thin, you can tell that the pad is too small. I'll fix that later. I bought this rug on sale for about $200. I'd have been bummed if I'd paid $300 for it.

I recommend this seller for their speedy delivery times!Rolled out and it’s lying flat and it’s not even been 24 hours yet. That’s ultra impressive!The rug is incredible - so beautiful and instantly brightened up our living room.The pattern looks washed - beautiful vintage looking rug. If you are looking for a prominent pattern however, perhaps this one won’t be a winner. If you’re looking to pair it with neutral home decor - absolute winner!Very soft and thin - I have a carpet fittedunderneath so thin was a personal preference of mine.Finally, I’ve posted some pictures for your reference in natural lighting should you wish to purchase it. Some of the below reviewers really baffled me - the carpet does not have a hint of beige nor blue or green in it. It is a true ivory/grey rug and I don’t know what colour spectrum you’re looking at!!In short, I LOVE it. Amazing value - 244 cm x 305 cm for £160 is an absolute bargain.Will be purchasing other designs from this seller again in the future.EDIT: a few days on and I couldn’t have anticipated I would be having this issue (see third picture) the rug is constantly moving and creasing, due to how thin it is. I ended up having to purchase an under layer made of polyester fibres which is a huge expense in itself considering the size I required to cover the entire rug. I ended up shelling out an additional £70 for the underlayer alone. The alternative was a very heavy duty £10 tape which in almost every instance leaves the carpet underneath with horrible defects when you lift the rug, so not ideal if you’re renting or if you’re anyone really! Who wants a damaged carpet.Another issue is the indentations left from my coffee table - I tried to fluff them after 24 hrs to no avail - seems the indentation marks will remain permanent. It is a very fragile rug!So there you go, my initial 5 star review has plummeted to 1.

This rug is great value for the money. It’s a lovely pattern for a fraction of the price of a rug bought from Dunelm/Next Home. It’s flat weave makes the vacuum easy to glide over. The only fault I would say it has is it curves around the edges and marks easily if you place a heavy side table on it and move it around.

I disliked the very tight packaging, and the rug has come out wrinkled and after two weeks is still not lying flat. It could do with a cardboard roll to help smooth it out when it is laid flat. It is also warped at opposite ends so it is not square in the room and one corner falls short of a right angle. Its a good job it is going into my home office rather than a reception room in my house, otherwise I would have sent it back.

Extremely happy with this rug! It was just what I was looking for and it arrived way earlier than the expected delivery date. I’ve seen reviews where it has taken a while to lay flat but I received it not even 24 hours ago and mine is laying completely flat. It also doesn’t crinkle as easily as some say theirs do. I’m in love with it! :)
