This was super easy to use, the material wasn't too thick and was easy to mold and work with. It took about 4 days to fully dry. It seems durable and thick enough that it wont break or crack. It was a fun Christmas craft and made a cute ornament for years to come. The dough is white and we decided to add red paint to make the hand print stand out more. Love this keep sake. We choose not to use the round mold and free handed it as we like the look better than perfect circle.

I’ve used this product for 2 years in a row for Christmas ornaments and have not been disappointed! Tips: make sure the dough is thoroughly kneaded so there aren’t air holes. Also, I used an actual rolling pin to flatten it instead of the provided one. I used a wet paper towel on my child’s hand/foot so it was slightly damp before pressing into the dough. Make sure you put a good amount of pressure so the indentation is visible, it’s possible it flattens out some but not a ton if you do the right pressure. I used a butter knife to cut out the hand/foot prints after making the indentations then kneading the excess to make more. The handprints (5 months old at the time) took 2 boxes to make 7 hands and 2 paws, and the footprints (1.5 yo) took 3 boxes for 5.5 prints.

Having done this 4x, This lightweight air dry clay is TERRIBLE. It's like play foam quality and has the weight of Styrofoam, not like clay at all. Not to mention, the circle is too big, and the clay shrinks as it dries, distorting the shape and changing the footprint and the circle. I have done many of these kits over the years and this is the only time I've been dissatisfied. My 6 year old and 4 year olds prints turned out so well (the 2021 and 2018 prints were little Hippo brand, much better quality, different clay medium). This side by side shows how the 2025 one is shrunken and distorted as it dries and shows less of the impression, and makes the footprint much smaller than actual size (my 8 pound baby's foot print shrunk smaller than my 5 pound baby's footprint. Save yourself disappointment and seek out a kit that uses the heavier and more substantial clay. Little Hippo brand was good.

I was fortunate that my hand/foot prints came out really well. The only thing that I didn’t expect was the feel of the material. It feels like a soft airy clay like material once it dried. I was expecting more of a ceramic ornament. I’m not sure why other reviewers hand/foot prints didn’t keep its form once it dried.

I have bought these many times in the past for kids and grandkids. I have gifted them to people for baby showers. This time I purchased it for my For baby, he became ill and his health rapidly decreased. I purchased it to make a keepsake of his paw. I hold it very dear. It was really easy to make. Instructions were simple. It’s very soft once it’s finished. It’s not a hard clay. It’s very durable. It’s very lightweight. It’s so pretty hanging on our tree with its little red bow. I definitely recommend purchasing this if you want to capture a moment in time. I will treasure this always. And I know I will buy it again for another gift for someone.

I read the reviews but I’ve purchased this brand for years ..and I love them It not a clay At all . It turns into a solid , hard , foam . Which I prefer because It will never fall and shatter then, it’s light weight and I paint them according to the gender and my preference using a little bottle of acrylic paint. They will not crack or chip nor the paint either . My first one was purchased 8 years ago and still looks like the first day. So easy . Need the package , roll it thin , cut the shape , press their hand or foot. Add a hole to hang it, ( 5 min) . Then Let dry 48 hours and paint . If you paint the little hand or foot white, you see every cute detail and paint the rest another color. I used the extra that was cut off and made 1-little 3” egg shape an added a foot print , let dry and added a magnet to the back for the fridge as a gift for the grandparents . again because it’s not heavy at all and won’t break if it falls . Perfect , fast, easy , no mess at all !

The polymer weeps liquid and doesn't hold the imprint well. The handprint puffed up so by the time the drying period had passed, it was difficult to see.

Not the material I expected, it doesn’t ever solidify, it’s a foamy cheap feeling texture.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! What a waste of $20!!!! We got the product and it was all dried out, couldn’t even roll it out or take the imprint. Save your money.

I bought several of these kits as Christmas presents for family and they loved them! It was really easy to create the mould (we used a glass to get the right shape), although it took a few attempts to get a good footprint with a wriggling baby! The only negative is that they did take a few days to completely dry so need to be done in advance.

Product too dried out. Could not be used. Tried microwaving it. Made it softer. Should not have to do this. Will not buy again

Muy bonita idea. Hay que súper moldear el material para que no se agriete. Ahora que se secó y lo mandé enmarcar no me encantó que no se impregnó demasiado la huella. Se ve un poco superficial pero funciona como recuerdo. En material es como foammy se ve bonito funciona cumple con el objetivo y viene todo el kit de rodillo mini y aro para el soporte. Sólo que tal vez de haber sido un material más suave se habría impregnado mejor la huella sin tener que presionar de más la Mano del bebé
