This scrubber is perfect for cleaning seasoned cast iron, removing grime without damaging the seasoned surface. You work hard to keep the surface seasoned, and this is the right tool to help. I don’t use soap in my cast iron, as it will attack the patina. This little handful of chainmail and some hot water will make quick work of any remaining food. Dry it (by hand, or in the oven/on the range), oil it, and bake it to periodically reseason the surface as needed, and you’re good to go. Same rules apply to carbon steel and other seasoned woks.Recommended!
