Steelseries Arctis 5 Wired Over Ear Headphones with Mic (Black)

Very comfortable and can use for a long time. I have used Logitech g pro x and counldnt use for long hours, but when it comes to using it for 3-4 hours continuously the arctis 5 was very good and it is lightweight so you won’t feel a burden on your head. This mix quality is really good people on the other side have said it is picking my exact same voice and sound quality is proper. Only thing is must buy wire protector for the wire cause the wire could get spoiled after a year or more’s use cause the price of wire is expensive. The rgp is a real eye-catcher. The build is really good and strong( don’t get fooled because it is plastic). Also the band on top makes it really comfortable and the over ear material allows air flow in the ear which is and additional comfort utility.

Never really liked headphones, always found it uncomfortable, been using Apple earpods for years and was very happy with it. Recently bought Xbox One S and the Apple earpods didn't work with the controlller, bought a budget Philips earphone but the sound wasn't that good and realized that to get a good gaming experience had to use a headphone.Audio Performance In Xbox One S With Dolby Atmos:First I purchased Eksa E900 and was very impressed with the sound quality, the highs were clear and mids were punchy, good amount of bass but even with Dolby Atmos enabled, didn't get the surround experience I was looking for, I couldn't tell any sound difference between Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos, so I thought may be a Dolby certified headphone would make a difference which led me to buy the Arctis 5. My opinion about Eksa's sound quality changed after using Arctis. I compared the sound quality on the headphones by watching the Dolby demo videos in the Dolby app. When watching fast paced action scenes with lot of sound effects and background music, Eksa struggles to produce all the sounds, it doesn't distort but the sound becomes really irritating to listen whereas Arctis produces distinct and well balanced sound in the same scenes and is never irritating. Basically after experiencing the immersive sound of Arctis, it's difficult to enjoy the sound quality of Eksa's headphone.Audio Performance In PC With Steelseries Software:After experiencing the sound on Xbox, I was sure the headphones would sound even better in pc with the steelseries software as I had even watched some YouTube review mentioning the same. So I installed the software, connected the headphones via USB and put on Jurrasic Park 3 DVD and when the movie started to play the headphones sounded very bad, I spent more than an hour trying on various settings on the software, tried stereo,5.1,7.1, adjusting the Equalizer, etc but couldn't get a decent enjoyable sound quality from the headphones, the speaker would even distort at some of the action scenes even when the equalizers were at default setting and volume was low, so I quit the steelseries app and made sure it's not running in the background, connected the headphone to the 3.5mm port on pc, opened the SRS Audio Essentials software which I have been using for years (while testing the steelseries software I had quit the SRS app to make sure it wasn't running in the background) and played JP3 and the sound was just great, it was stereo sound but the sound was rich with punchy mids and lows. So was very disappointed with the steelseries software and would recommend using a good audio enhancing software/hardware if you want to get the best experience possible from this headphone.Audio Performance In PC With Creative Sound BlasterX G5:Few days after buying the Arctis headphones, the Xbox controller's 3.5mm port stopped working, the sound would randomly become mute, I did some research and it turns out that this is a common problem with the Xbox controller, so instead of buying a new controller and risking facing the same issue in few months, I decided to buy the Creative G5 which can be connected to Xbox via optical cable and I can connect the headphones directly to G5's 3.5mm port. I first tested the G5 with Arctis 5 on pc with JP3 movie, created a custom profile (attached screenshot) and the sound was just great, the sound is clear and rich in details, I could hear the environment, i could tell what type of ground people are walking on, flies buzzzing, etc. Also watched Avatar and the audio is really immersive. Basically was really impressed with the sound processing of the Creative G5 and the sound production of the Arctis 5.Audio Performance In Xbox One S With Creative Sound BlasterX G5:I decided to watch JP3 on xbox with the same sound profile which I used in pc and there is considerable sound difference, the details are less amplified, it still sounds way better than without using G5 but not as immersive as in pc. Played Just Cause 4 with the same sound profile and was impressed how the game sounds so much better with details.Surround Sound:Don't expect true surround even if the headphone brand markets it so. I watched a YouTube video in which they did this blindfold surround test with a headphone which has 5 separate speakers on each side and compared it with regular one speaker headphones and the 5 speaker headphone didn't fair better than the other headphones. The Arctis has an immersive sound stage but it never felt like I was at the centre of a surround speaker setup, it's virtual surround and it does it's job.Comfort:Primary reason to choose Steelseries brand was the comfort factor. It's really comfortable, the headphone cushion is soft and feels nice. The band in the headphone definitely makes a difference in comfort and will give a personalized fit.Final Thoughts:Not being a headphone fan was a bit skeptical of spending Rs.10,000/- but now have no regrets and would highly recommend this to anyone who values their hearing and want to experience well-balanced and immersive sound.

This has to be one of the most comfortable headphones. You can use it for hours continuously. The sound quality is very good, and the RGB looks very cools. Both RBG and sound can be adjusted from the SteelSeries software. The USB ChatMix Dial is very useful for in-game or even a call.The downside is that the USB ChatMix Dial is very loose, so sometime a slight unintentional touch can change it. Also the LED on the microphone is very bright red and can become distracting and slightly irritating to the eye unless you reposition it to a point beyond your peripheral vision.Overall, these headphones are a good deal.

These are the best headphones I have ever used. They also have customisable RGB, and terrific sound quality. If you are experiencing bad sound quality, you have to download the Steelseries Engine app to install the drivers. The headphones are also very comfortable and very lightweight. They are a little expensive, but they are worth the money. Overall the best headphones you can buy right now.

The headphones are very light weight and comfortable and you won't even feel that you are wearing them. Sound quality is also good and much much better than cheap headsets. You can also change the sound through steelseries software based on your liking. It is a very nice feature which I like. The equalizer settings are saved in the headset itself and you can hear the same sound on different devices even if the device do not have steelseries software installed. Equalizer settings only work with USB

Ok, I have tried a lot of headsets in the past from Sony, Logitech, etc., etc., this headset within this budget of less than $100 is the best out there. Super comfortable, great build, very nice sound quality, I will use it for a lot of things like listening to music in the PC, gaming in the PS4, Audioconferencing in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. If you are looking for an over-ear headset for any of those things, you wont regret this one. Headset score 5/5 in sound quality, 5/5 in comfort. Oh, it has RGB, I didn't pay attention to that, when connected using the 3.5 mm it doesn't light up until you connect with the USB to the computer and then the RGB showed. It's a headset so I won't be seeing the RBG by myself so it really is a nice extra but not a must have in my opinion.

De verlichting doet het enkel als je de koptelefoon aansluit op een krachtbron. Dat is niet altijd het geval. Dus helaas wij gebruiken de lampjes niet ... Terwijl we em wel hadden gekocht voor de lampjes

Besonders bei Games wie Rainbow Six oder PUBG ist die räumliche Ortung hervorragend.Tragekomfort:Das Arctis 5 ist eines der bequemsten Headsets, die ich je getragen habe. Dank des Kopfbandes und der Ohrpolster kann ich stundenlang spielen, ohne dass das Headset unangenehm wird. Es sitzt perfekt und drückt nicht, selbst bei längeren Gaming-Sessions.Design und RGB-Beleuchtung:Mir persönlich gefällt das Design wirklich sehr, sehr gut.
