Iron deficiency in plants
I just got it and applied one treatment. It came here fast and it's easy to measure and mixed well with water. It's too soon to tell if it will work.

Waited to review..
I used this during the winter in So Cal. Now, Western Red Bud and Crape Myrtle are in full foliage. Never looked so healthy.

Didn't do much
Didn't really green up my lawn but tbh I didn't do a soil test. Probably my fault on that one

Cleated Iron gets rid of yellow patches if you have already done the right things. The results are 'shocking'
I have patches of my lawn that turn yellow every few years. I fertilize, lime and water enough. (that is how I knew I needed this, I could water almost every day and it stayed yellow with no grub damage) I figured out that if I put on cleated iron, it would green up. I just apply it to the flowerbed and certain spots of the lawn that I have issues with. I use the rest to spray the lawn all over but maybe not at a productive level. Next time I will get a larger size. This one went fast. The entire lawn could benefit. It has been about 3 weeks and I notice a big difference. This is the same result as my previous experiences with stubborn yellow spots that you just couldn't water enough to get green.UPDATE: I went and bought another bottle for other parts of my lawn that could use a little attention. I did the flowers again. This isn't inexpensive but does really work Someone should start recommending this for yearly lawn care to people who really want a great lawn. One funny thing about this (has nothing to do with its performance) is that if you shake it enough and touch the cap, it will give off a tiny shock each time. Must be the metals in the liquid causing some kind of static or charge in the plastic. (fun but useless knowledge) That is why I chose to put "the results are shocking" in the title vs describing it another way.One last thing about lawncare that doesn't relate directly to this product is that I have been using Fertilome Soil Activator for years. This stuff is really amazing as well. If you have high foot traffic or spots that burn in the sun it can help. It is brown coal or humus. It can be used to start a compost pile or get rid of your grass clippings or thatch in the lawn. (it has been marketed as dethatcher) It is natural and safe and makes anything you put it on grow amazingly well. I did a stripe in my lawn once to see how well it worked. That spot was higher and grew greener than anywhere else. It isn't going to 'burn out' or over fertilize your lawn either. It releases the trapped nutrients in the soil and conditions the soil. I recommend that as well.Update 2: I applied this Chelated Iron twice last year and it turned part of my lawn a shade of grey were I applied too much. It didn't kill my lawn and once it was over having too much iron, it grew like crazy!! It stayed grey for about 2 weeks or so. This year I bought Milorganite. It is a pellet and is slow release. It is an organic fertilizer and is surprisingly inexpensive. I will find out how that works. It is supposed to add iron without the possibility of it turning my lawn grey if I apply too much since it is slow release. I will still use this product occasionally but I may be more careful applying it and I will stick to problem areas and the flowers.
