Connoisseur Protege Short Handle Gold Nylon Brush, 1/2 and 3/4-Inch

These 3/4 and 1/2 inch flat brushes are great face painting brushes. My only concern is that the ones I got looked repackaged and were clearly held in place with scotch tape because somebody put them back in the plastic holder. So that was weird. Also the handles rattle on the handles. But really if you are looking for nice beginner brushes and don’t want to invest in or can’t find real face painting brushes, then these are very nice. I bought this set twice

What a fanastic set of brushes!I use them for face painting (mainly one stroke) as recommended by an American face painter Laura. She raves about them and boy was she right. Hold the paint so well and give great control. I love these brushes for doing one stroke painting. The one stroke painting I do is for face painting. The bristles are short enough to give you control of your strokes but allow you to get enough paint. This is a great firm brush for doing flowers and roses. This package comes with a 1/2in brush perfect for leafs and 3/4 inch brush that I use for the petals. I recommend for any face painter or canvas artist!

Just got my brushes and had to take them for a test drive! Great as usual! This is the third set I've purchased. The first two times I purchased the complete set of 15 brushes - for just these two - so it's great that they started selling them separately! They are the only reason I can do one-stroke face painting designs ;)

I bought these after reading a blog post about face painting. They work great. The bristles are short, so they're easy to control. They pick up the paint nicely, and provide for smooth application. They feel good in my hand. OVerall, very satisfied with the purchase.

Pretty great brushes! Firm enough to paint a crisp image but soft enough to use on faces. Wish they carried singles. Really only need 1 inch.

I'm very glad I came across these brushes. I use them for one stroke designs when face painting. They hold a lot of paint and are very easy to maneuver.

I'm a face a body artist and this allows me so much more control with my one stroke paints. Love them and I will be buying more.
