Get this one and do the job once
I was having issues with my transmission slipping on a 2005 acura rl. I went ahead and bought and replaced the solenoids with the 2 for 1 special on ebay, well my car didnt improve so i went ahead and did the 3x3 drain n fill. Still no improvement so now im worried imight needva new transmission. So last effort i went ahead and bought this oem solenoid that by the way ebay ones also claimed to be. This one from amazon fixed my issue and car is shifting like brand new now

Works great! Seems to be legit OEM Honda part.
Used this on a 2005 Honda Pilot, I replaced the same P/N switches on my 2008 Acura TL as well.I was initially concerned this might be counterfeit part, as the price is 30% lower than online Honda dealers sell them for. I had already purchased one of this same part from an online Acura dealer for my TL, and thought to give these a try to replace on my Pilot. It appears these are indeed Honda genuine, and thus far these really cleaned up the shifts on my Pilot (& my TL as well w/ dealership sourced parts). I was having slight slip 2nd-3rd shift when cold, followed by a JERKY 3rd-4th shift under light throttle both hot & cold. Thus far all shift quality is now very crisp and direct. Very satisfied, plus this is significantly cheaper than online retailers! If you own a Honda or Acura vehicle, replacing these switches w/ OEM quality parts can definitely be beneficial to shift quality!

This is genuine
This item is genuine. I bought some 18$ ones and the lasted a month or two. These are on for over two years. No more blocking D light. 2002 Honda CRV

Made my 2001 Honda Odyssey transmission shift, if not completely like new, then like it hasn't in quite a long time.
If you have a shifting problem with an older Honda Odyssey, before you get a complete transmission rebuild, at least eliminate this pressure switch as the problem. Immediately before installation, the transmission lurched often when shifting between first and second gear. After reviewing this site and others on the web -- and having this part being ID'd by my shop -- I conveniently bought this part from this vendor. The USPS tracking system was very good. This little part literally made my 2001 Honda Odyssey transmission shift, if not completely like new, then like it hasn't in quite a long while.Fair warning: It looks like an "oil" pressure switch. One reputable shop I took it to would not even entertain installing it, saying I needed a rebuild or at the very least a new solenoid. Another, this time a Japanese auto repair shop, thought it was an oil pressure switch only to check and confirm that it was also used on transmissions. They installed it, problem solved, and buying it on Amazon saved $40.00 off of the shop's retail part markup. I hesitated installing this myself though. It was up on the top side and pretty much out in the open but I did not have a reliable enough guide of some sort to feel comfortable enough to do this on my own. I probably would have done so had someone put something up on YouTube specifically for a Honda Odyssey. (Someone had done so for a Prelude; close, but not quite the same.)

2003 Honda Odyssey Byba 5spd 3rd oil pressure sensor.
It is an OEM Honda part so I know it will be durable. Replacing my old and dusted 3rd gear transmission oil pressure sensor.

Good first step if running down a P0730 error code
This pressure switch is a good first step if you are running down a P0730 code for a Honda. I am troubleshooting a 2003 Honda Pilot and this was the first part I replaced in troubleshooting the code. Symptoms: Sometimes slow to engage/hesitates or bangs into reverse, hesitates when shifting into or out of third gear (going 2->3, or 4->3).Next step I am going to try is to replace Transmission Solenoid A which is on the front of the transmission.Transmission Solenoid A: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00986XGCG

3rd gear pressure switch for 2007-2009 Acura RDX
I recommend buying this OEM Honda/Acura 3rd gear pressure switch for the transmission to get rid of the dreaded flashing “D” light and return transmission performance to factory condition. Don’t cheap out on the Chinese knock-off as they don’t work for long if they do at all and the cost of a new transmission is exorbitant. Check YOUTUBE for your specific vehicle to assist you in replacing it yourself and saving $ not having to pay a mechanic or the stealership. Make sure it comes in the sealed bag from Honda with the part number on it (mine did from this seller) as there are fakes being sold online. Hope this helps someone! I’ll update this review if I have any issues in the future. I’d also recommend not changing the transmission fluid especially on older vehicles as that can cause more problems IMHO. If the level is low just add Honda compatible transmission fluid until mark on dipstick reaches appropriate level.
