Saved us $7,000!!!!!!!
We took our Ford diesel truck into the dealer for service for a recall notice that we received. While we were there, we requested they also check as the truck seemed to not have the power as it once had while driving in the mountains and pulling our RV. They came back with the diagnosis that our turbo had carbon buildup and needed to be replaced to the cost of $7K!!! After an extensive search, we found this product and thought we’d try it! Not approved in the U.S. but available for purchase in the UK through Amazon. We used this along with an ejector cleaner ordered state side. Then back to a local mechanic who ran a diagnostic on it to find no turbo problem!! The fix was well under $100!!!! Savings of over $6900!!! Great product!!

Good stuff
Put it in and it worked great! Ran the engine brake and no engine codes. More power as well.

Cleared a check engine light
My 2005 Chevy 2500HD Duramax engine was indicating a turbo vane geometry fault. Dealer quoted $4500 to replace the turbo but the truck was running okay so I decided to see if this would clear it. Needless to say one bottle did the job. The code came back but again a bottle cleared it.

Did not free the sticking vanes on my Duramax Turbo
Purchased this when I got the engine light for vane position sensor. Figured I’d give it a shot, didn’t free the vanes and when I took the turbo apart it was fairly dirty and full of carbon. Did not work for me.

Slightly increased regen interval. I did not have any issues for this product to resolve.
My review is based on product efficiency, any damages to vehicle, check engine lights turning on or off, ability to clear engine codes (if my vehicle has any check engine lights), increase or decrease in mileage, and increase or decrease in regeneration mileage intervals. I will not use price as a factor. You will have determine if product is worth the cost. These products may or may not save you costly repairs or replacement. I cannot determine if these products can or will damage your vehicle. My vehicle has no check engine light or error codes. My vehicle is in good working order with no current issues during this review. My vehicle has over 200,000 miles. This is a stock vehicle, with a stock (OEM) factory tune installed. Just prior to this test, my truck was not performing a regen cycle. Repairs were done which included a new 9th injector, new DPF pressure monitor. The pressure monitor measures pressure before and after the DPF filter. The difference in pressure allow computer to estimate how much soot has accumulated in the DPF filter. A force regen was also performed on my vehicle and a passive regen performed before I received my vehicle from repair shop. Vehicle is performing as it should.Test drive is relatively the same and consistent. 49.5 miles one way, with a drive time of about 56 minutes. There is a gradual 1129 foot elevation gain one way and 1129 elevation loss the opposite way. There is some surface street driving, some freeway driving, and most of drive is highway. This is a review on Wynn's Diesel Turbo Carbon Remover 500ml. I am giving this product a 4-star review. This product did decreased regen frequency from previous additive, which suggests that it may have cleaned the DPF to some degree. I did not check for any mileage increase or decrease. I did not get any engine error codes while using this product.I used 1 bottle of Wynn’s Diesel Turbo Carbon Remover. No check engine lights came on. Vehicle showed no adverse affects from additive.Regen mileage interval with NO additives was 384 miles after receiving vehicle from repair shop. Mileage between regens decreased from 384 miles (baseline) to 298 miles. This product gave my vehicle a decrease of 86 miles between regens in relation to baseline numbers. The previous treatment reduced regen interval mileage lower than baseline so Wynn's Diesel Turbo Cleaner Carbon Remover had an uphill battle. I had previously used Liqui-Moly Diesel Purge prior to this product. Wynn’s Diesel Turbo Cleaner Carbon Remover gained 33 miles over previously used Liqui-Moly Diesel Purge, relating to regen mileage intervals. I'll base the review on regen mileage gain on previous mileage (not baseline). I did not notice any change in fuel economy. This product claims the following:Clears blocked diesel turbochargers; removes carbon build up from the turbine and frees sticking vanes without dismantlingRemoves residues from the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst and has a good cleaning effect on the EGR valveRe-establishes engine power and throttle response, improving combustion and reducing soot emissionsExtends the life of the turbo and the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst, and is harmless for all after-treatment systems.I did not have any issues with my vehicle prior to using this product, so I can't say if it improved any engine conditions, such as turbo vane sticking or EGR cleaning(but I thought I would try and see if it extended regen interval). I can only compare fuel economy and regen intervals.3-STARSI have some data from other additives for comparison listed below. Most product seemed to help and so far only one product reduced DPF performance. You should not compare the towing data for comparison. I have just added it to show that towing will change data. Towing will increase exhaust gas temperatures and should make the DPF more effective. My regen mileage intervals increased, decreasing regen frequency, while towing. There are many factors that affect the DPF performance. The factors that I noticed (on my vehicle) are outside temperature, humidity, and EGTs. Lower temperatures decreased DPF performance. Higher humidity decreased DPF performance. Higher outside temperatures and lower humidity seem to increase DPF performance. Higher EGTs such as towing increased DPF performance.30 miles driven during regeneration cycleSoot down to 8 grams.EGTs = 556F temperature, normal highway drivingEGTs = 698F temperature during regeneration cycleInjection quantity at idle at baseline=9mmInjection quantity at idle after Wynn’s additive=7mmI did not check injector balance while using this product.Less fuel being used at idle.Decreases in regeneration intervals, -86 miles from baseline and +33 miles from previous additive.Regen down to 8 grams. No negative affects. If I had check engine light or error codes that this product had cleared, I'm sure I would have given it a higher rating.Hope this review helps. I will be writing more reviews on other diesel additives.Regeneration Interval Mileage:baseline (no additive) , 384 miles between regeneration intervalsArchoil AR6200 Fuel Treatment, 391 miles between regeneration intervals,+7 mile increase from baseline, +7 mile increase from previous additive(none, baseline)Wynn’s DPF Regenerator, 462miles between regeneration intervals, +78 mile increase from baseline, +71 mile increase from previous additiveSeafoam (high dose), 504 miles between regeneration intervals, +120 mile increase from baseline, +42 mile increase from previous additiveNitrox Clean Cat Diesel, 324 miles between regeneration intervals, -60 mile decrease from baseline, -180 mile decrease from previous additiveArchoil AR6500 pulling trailer in hot weather (not same comparison) , 1075 miles between regeneration intervals, +691 mile increase from baseline, +751 mile increase from previous additiveNitrox Clean Cat Diesel 2nd try, 402 miles between regeneration intervals, +18 mile increase from baseline, +78 mile increase from previous additiveLiqui Moly Diesel Purge, 265 miles between regeneration intervals, -119 mile decrease from baseline, -137 mile decrease from previous additiveWynn’s Turbo Cleaner, 298 miles between regeneration intervals, -86 mile decrease from baseline, +33 mile increase from previous additiveRislone Hy-Per Diesel, 323 miles between regeneration intervals, -61 mile decrease from baseline, +25 mile increase from previous additiveRislone DPF Clean, 323 miles between regeneration intervals, -61 mile decrease from baseline, 0 mile difference from previous additiveStar Review Legend1 star: Made check engine light turn on or trigger error code(s)2 star: Causes no check engine warnings and no engine error codes. NEW TRUCK IN A BOTTLE!!!
Since I bought my truck used, it has had a long shift between 2nd and 3rd and it the engine would fall on its face after shifting while under load(TITAN XD Diesel). I tried everything to fix the transmission over the next 2 years and 35k miles! One day, I heard a turbo surge blow into my air box which made me wonder if it wasn't actually a turbo problem that has just gotten bad enough to be showing its ugly head by turbo surging. I found this product and tried it. Put the bottle in. Drove out of my driveway and experienced the long shift. Drove down the highway for about 3 miles and I noticed a change in sound coming from the engine. It sounded different. I stopped and tried a 0-60 accelerate. No long shifts, shifted through the gears smoother and faster and I had much more throttle response. Over the next 150 miles, I was averaging 3-5 more MPGs on highway and city driving while not experiencing one long shift! I can drive the truck without worrying that my transmission may fall out of the truck at anytime if I am not careful! You cannot afford to not buy this stuff! 10 Stars!

mistery
its one of those items its hard to tell if its doing what you expect or hope it will do. this is my second time using it, so no down side other than money spent.

This product it works
The vanes on my VW TDI were stuck, the turbo was building no pressure. I put the whole container in about 1/4 tank of fuel and let the car idle for one hour. Then I took it out for a drive and I would say I had almost full boost back from the turbo.
