Fantastic read and resource. Love the study guide at the end of each chapter. This is a great resource for individual or group study. It's for anyone and everyone with breath in their lungs and the ability to discern and understand obvious and simply stated spiritual influence in and throughout our natural existance. It's easy to go through life disconnected to the spiritual realm. It's not natural. But once we consider this part of our reality and understand it's influence, we can then begin to identify and address what matters, what is relavent. This resource is a well researched and validated reference for knowledge, understanding and application for real and lasting results for ones current and future situations and circumstances.I have experienced dramatic life changing results as a result of this book. And it was instant! It's been several weeks now and the results have continued far beyond what I was able to understand and address at the time of reading, journaling, applying the principles, praying and thanking God.

I can't even begin to say how helpful this book is. There is so much power, and information from beginning to end. There are also questions at the end of each chapter to help you glean the most important points. There are scripture verses and affirmations to speak after as well. This book is a treasure trove for those who want Gods blessing over every area of their lives. It contains essential truths to help an individual, but what was even more valuable was knowing these truths are available to help my kids overcome curses in their own lives. If you've not read Derek prince's books before, this is a good place to start. You quickly realize that he knows SOO much. This includes hebrew and Greek for the purpose of being able to study the Scriptures. However, this book isn't difficult to read. His goal in teaching isn't to be lofty in any way; rather, his desire is to write simply in order that anyone could pick up his books and understand the point easily. He's humble and gentle- it's very obvious that he loves people. Get this book- it's been a game-changer for our family. maybe it will be for yours, too!

"Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.If even one person can read this book (which is really the Word of God) and be set free from demonic bondage then Praise God.As I sit here and review this book my place of work is having a Harry Potter week - every single one of the people here are Christians - every one of them - they go to church at least 3 times per week, are good people, and hard workers who care about each other and their customers. They have no understanding about the spiritual doors that are being opened up by this idolatry.Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.I was delivered from a spirit of shamanism 3 years ago. I was heavily involved in shamanistic practices from almost 20 years - it is a very powerful force which is not from the one true living God. The deliverance took almost 2 years from the time I started repenting from my past until I was delivered. The moment of deliverance was excruciating but the years of torment were debilitating. My involvement in these practices brought curse onto me and my family. We, me and my family, are now free.Also, I have had many curses broken off of me. One in particular had been placed on me when I was a young child. Several nights a week for my entire life I would have these very intense and terrifying dreams about an evil presence that was threatening me as I slept. This presence would be in any house I was in when I was dreaming. As a child I would run away in my dreams. As I got older and learned more about the power of the word of God, I became more bold and began to hunt this spirit down in my dreams, but I could never find it. It was just an awful experience night after night after night with no relief. The fear that I felt was like hanging on edge of a very high building knowing that you were going to fall when your grip gave out.Then one night, as I began to dream, I began to hunt for this spirit. I got closer and closer then suddenly I woke up with a word from God about being under a curse. He told me what the curse was and who had placed it on me. I immediately began to pray about it and was released after about an hour of battle. That presence is totally absent from my life now. I found out years later that in voodoo, the name of the spirit is the "Waster" spirit.Now the big picture here is that this is just a book. BUT... it teaches the principles of the Word of God. Unfortunately, a vast majority of professing Christians - nullify the word of God by their traditions that have been handed down - they have not been taught the truth. And sadly, very sadly, I have tried to share this with many Christians and they absolutely refuse to listen and receive.Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: `These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.Jesus said, "...And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." Isaiah wrote, "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led by them are destroyed.For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.This book provides rock solid teaching from the Word of God. I have given you personal testimony of the blessings I have received from this teaching.It is just like the title says - Blessing or Curse - YOU CAN CHOOSE.So if you made it this far in my review, maybe God has spoken to your heart. You don't really need this book to receive the blessings, they are in the Word of God, but this book provides a great teaching that is available to all who hear His voice.

If you ever wondered why you or your family members lives never seems to prosper, you may look back at previous generations and notice a pattern of “ bad luck”. it’s possible that one of you ancestors invoked a curse by their disobedience to God’s word and satanic involvement etc. and you and other family members are paying the price. The good news is: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, Gal. (3:13)but we have to appropriate it so that we and our descendants will be blessed. This book is a God sent, it will shed light on the Truth about blessing and curses. You will be blessed beyond measure. Get ready to change yourselves and your families as you learn how in this awesome book. Choose to leave a legacy of blessing for the next generation. Stop the curse! Be blessed!

Unfortunately, there are those that would dismiss this body of teaching outright because, in their echo chamber of "truth", they're not familiar with these clear exegetical teachings. It is the glory of the Lord to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out. This the author has done. Derek Prince has conscientiously provided a profoundly thorough examination of a common subject found in scripture but rarely, if ever, discussed in current theological thought. It is as if Luther or Calvin's failure to discuss the concepts of "blessing and curses" means neither should we! Incredulously, contemporary evangelicalism disregards the significant attention scripture gives in references to this incredibly important subject in both the NT and OT. I can only commend to others that the impact of embracing a modicum of these concepts will dramatically impact their families, church and community in powerful ways.

In these days of our all knowing hedonistic society, this takes a step back and brings God afresh into focus.Derek was an exceptionally gifted and respected man who was much used in this area.A must read to understand that daily we battle assaults especially in our minds, but with that knowledge we are able to call on our Saviour Jesus Christ to win ALL battles.Read this book and no longer be ignorant that we can overcome even the most severe spiritual challenges.
