Achla Designs TSW-02 Deck Rail, Adjustable Shepherd's Pole, Black

I was so thrilled to find this product as I have scoured the internet for something to replace my aging and rusted Tiki torch holders. They clamp securely on the deck and allow me to sring up my lights. I ordered one to test it out and then ordered several more.

I rec'd this today so no long trial. However, it's heavy and well made. My railing has a slightly padded top and this hook tightened down firmly. The upright is square so the positioning is going to be limited to the cardinal points of a compass. I was impressed enough to order a second right away for the other end of the porch railing. One for wind chimes and one for a hanging plant basket.

My parents recently moved to a condo and so they no longer have the beautiful yard they loved to work in. I bought this to hang flowers or, in our case, a bird feeder. It is sturdy and looks really nice. Recommend!

The product is a very good product. Seems sturdy. However, it did not work for my situation and to return it, I have to go to a UPS store. Unfortunately, there is no UPS store around me, now I have to travel to return it. I think the seller should put that it is return via UPS only.

After searching for a classic shepards hook I could ziptie onto my deck in order to have some hanging flowers, I decided to buy a clamp hook. I originally bought the Vigaro one from Home Depot but it didn’t open wide enough to go over my vinyl railing. I was pleased to find this one for just a few dollars more. It fit perfectly and has been holding a hanging basket for weeks to without any issues. I am a corner lot, so I get a lot of crosswinds and this thing hasn’t budged. I’m really impressed and will likely buy another!
