BLANK CARD featuring the painting SEVEN - Alan Jones Without doubt one of the most gifted riders of a motorcycle ever, Barry Sheene, could be brash and self-centred, yet on his day thoroughly brilliant. Winner of numerous races on the 250cc Bultacco, he would win a Formula 750 World Championship before going on to win two 500cc World Championships with Suzuki. His career included great duels with a number of other riders but his nemesis was to be the American Kenny Roberts. In addition to this amazing rivalry, Sheene’s career would be plagued by numerous serious accidents, including one, in training for the Daytona 200, which remains the highest speed ever recorded where a rider lived to tell the tale. THE CARD IS 7" x 5" (178mm x 127mm)
