9 year old 5-ton air conditioner started tripping the circuit breaker. Both A/C and breaker panel on West side of the house in the sun in central TX. The capacitor had never been replaced but when the service panel was removed there were two 30/5/370 capacitors wired in parallel. The product manual called for an 80/5/370 and this worked perfectly. The compressor is cooling more efficiently (mentioned by two people) and is cycling less. Very easy to install with info from the internet. Safety first - cut the power. Product took one week to arrive even though shipping is upgraded to Prime when the product ships, which was 5 days!

It's fully compatible with my existing Central Air Conditioner so it worked perfectly after I have installed. My family get to enough the cool air at home and I saved a tone of money for being a handyman.

Replaced a blown capacitor on my air conditioner. Does the job, as it should. Easy DIY, so why pay an $150 to have a licensed pro change your capacitor? These should be sold at Homedepot and Lowe's, but typically are not sold to the public locally. So get the model numbers from your Heating and Air Conditioner system, have one replacement ready of each model number, so when your capacitor goes out - when, not if - you will have only a few minutes of down time.

Ailing compressor fan fires right up after I installed this capacitor! No need to hire expensive A/C repair man - overcharging for simple fix.

Great value since i live in AZ. and you never know when a capacitor is going to pop in the hot summer months. It saved my lots of money having a spare one summer night when the condensing unit stopped running. I would advise anyone to have a spare capacitor on hand if they are able to change out it themselves.

Couldn't find it at local store because of its "big" nature. Very easy to install and works as expected. Time will tell how long it can last.

Shipping was fast. I haven’t installed it yet but it looks like a damaged product. The description says new so I didn’t expect it to be all dented up.
