LINKYO Compatible Toner Cartridge Replacement for Brother TN227BK High Yield TN223BK (Black, 2-Pack)

With my industry (travel) at a standstill & money is extra-tight, I'd try to save some money on toner by purchasing this item rather than the Brother cartridges. Two high-yield cartridges for less than the price of one...what could go wrong? The answer: EVERYTHING!After cleaning the drum wire, as I do with every new toner cartridge replacement, I saw black streaks across everything I printed for a few days. It went away, so I thought it was manageable. That was, until today, when I went to make a few copies (10 to be exact)...some sheets were totally blank & others had about 1/3 of the page with print on them & the remainder was blank.I'm outside of the return policy by one week, but at least I can warn others about the shoddy quality that you get with these toner cartridges. Save your money & go with the factory cartridges.

I got the twin toner package for value but I was deceived. First one lasted only 100 pages or so and not more. I used it in my almost brand new Brother HL-L3270CDW printer after its original cartridge ran out. Started getting "No toner !" message with yellow highlighting and I thought it was the yellow toner cartridge at fault. Replaced it but error would not go away. Spent several days looking online and answer as I just ran out of my one year Brother warranty. Then I switched to printer internal web page via my network and noticed a red cross over the black toner. After replacing it with the second black toner the error message cleared away. Now I am waiting till another 100 pages or so to throw away this expensive garbage.

I use a great deal of toner because my grandson is really into printing stories that he creates from screenshots. I have tried the toner cartridge without the chip (I had to remove from used cartridge and install in the new cartridge), but for the money and ease of use I like these toner cartridges with the chip already installed much better! I have included a screenshot (cut out and laying on top of the printer), of one of the story pages my grandson printed with the new cartridges. He was very pleased with the results, most of his screenshots are of characters with a lot of black background in them and he is very picky about making sure the black is black, and is not greyish. He said that the new toner definitely met his printing criteria!!

Two black cartridges and both my Brother MFC-l3770 displays an error "cannot detect toner". I have searched the web trying to find a solution. I tried many suggestions, but none worked. The solution I found "DO NOT BUY from LINKYO". I am past the time period that Amazon will accept a return.Of note, the color cartridges I purchased from ONLYU work perfectly. So I bought a black cartridge from ONLYU; the moment I installed the cartridge, it worked. I am not endorsing ONLYU. My experience with ONLYU is five cartridges, but of the 5, all have worked. Whereas, my 2 black cartridges from LINKO resulted in a 100% failure rate.

I was a bit concerned with some of the negative reviews but I couldn't ask for better print quality. I was replacing a Brother printer cartridge because the OEM cartridge was dumping excessive toner from day one. I kept thinking the problem would clear up—it did not. I didn't want to sink another $75 for another Brother cartridge.After cleaning the toner dust out of the printer and the the toner build up on the drum, I ran test prints with the replacement Linkyo cartridge. The blacks were completely black. Fine lines were clean. Even under a magnifying glass, the print quality was as good as the printer could produce.I've used Linkyo for other printers and have been happy with the results. I did have a print quality problems with a color set for an HP printer but they gave me a full refund.

Had hesitations about ordering but reviews seemed to be positive. Was instantly recognized by my printer and no fiddling required! Some providers have you transplant the chip and reset manually but this was a drop in replacement for my OEM cart. I see no difference in quality from the OEM, prints are rich black with excellent coverage. Will definitely buy again!

I recently got a new Brother MFC-L3750CDW color laser printer and it didn't take but a few weeks for the print quality from the mini-black toner cartridge they included to start working poorly. It would print, but put a gray shade on the whole page. After a couple of months the print became very light and hard to read against the gray background. I was concerned there was a problem with the printer so I ordered a pair of replacements from Linyo, a new vendor for me. It literally arrived the next day. And I was delighted to find they included detailed instructions for installing a new cartridge in my printer, something I had been used to having to look up on the Internet with my past printer. First page out after the toner change and it was crisp, with the gray background shading gone. Thank you Linyo for doing it right. I'll be sticking with you.

it is working very good in my printer, i was concern that it might smear but it did not the paper are coming our clear. because I have a tax office, I print a lot this time of the year and I try to cut cost where ever I can. this will be a great saving for me

If you print the same black and white sheet using the original toner and this. You will see this toner print out is much lighter than the original toner. Almost like the diluted coffer after adding all the ice. Consider the price is so much cheaper than original, and most of the time, I am doing casual printing or kid's school work, this toner is okay. But if your main use is for professional quality work, I would not use this.

I bought this for a covered Brother printer. I don't use it much, and the print levels show 3/4 full, but the machine is requiring that I already replaced the ink and it's unusable without it.Total waste of money and I would highly recommend avoiding Linkyo. Can't even contact them for a refund via Amazon.

Purchased the black, it more like a dark grey, not vibrant like the factory toner.While it is much less expensive, if you need good blacks for presentations, I would not recommend this.If all you print are drafts, this will do the job.

Stark difference in quality of print. Buy if you are looking to print for kids or everyday use and dont care much for quality. The attached pic shows you the difference in ink quality versus the original ink.

Initially works fine, then power started to stick to the edge of the toner, then it stop yielding all together. Here is a test page showing what is going on. I took out the second Cartridge, it was even worse, the printer could not recognize the cartridge at all. please avoid.
