I lived in Luanda, Angola (husband is still there) as well as Lagos, Nigeria, and Milton is a staple in very expats kitchen cupboard. All fruit and vegetables get soaked in a solution of Milton and apart from making salads safe to eat it increases the longevity of vegetables like potatoes and carrots. Apples can be eaten with skin on it also means that when peeling an orange to eat you know that the peel is clean. It can also, obviously, be used for sterilising kitchen tools. I'm sure it is great for baby products (as I believe that is its main purpose) but not having had to use it for that I cannot comment.

I wish I'd known about these before I spent a fortune on a steriliser. My daughter is breastfed so we don't need to sterilse much. We use a quarter of a tablet in a small container and it's perfect for dummies, the breast pump and the occasional bottle. They're so easy to use. Don't go for a cheaper brand which are more of a faff.

First time i had used these tablets and very happy with them. I used them on my daughters bottles whilst abroad and very happy that they did what they were supposed to do. My baby didnt get any upset tummy but i also used bottled mineral water with the tablets as opposed to there tap water. They do leave a mild smell of bleach, however i always rinsed them out afterwards with boiled kettle water. (however the manufacturer claims you dont even have to rinse) Overall very happy with the product.
