French Vocabulary Builder+: with the Michel Thomas Method 1st Edition

A great method for understanding the connection between English and French. I spent some time on Rosetta Stone first which was a big help before negotiating this French Vocabulary Builder.

The cd's were empty. Nothing on them. How can I return for a good copy?

A really, really good adjunct to the basic Michel Thomas course. Uses the simple "c'est possible" method of grammar instruction, but adds lots of new, basic and very useful verbs, adjectives and nouns. You can almost use it instead of the six-disc Michel Thomas course. The five hours of sound files are not on standard CDs but on a kinda CDR that you have to download onto a computer.

after having a generally basic level of french, asking for directions, introducing myself asking simple questions etc i found this course really helped build my level of french

Comes with 2 cds. There was no audio on my cds so didn't play. Tried in cd player and computer which said their was no audio files on it.

I wouldn't call this a vocabulary builder. For me it was just mind-mumblingly boring. I thought it would have much more specific and interesting vocabulary, but it was just so basic. A real disappointment as I love the Michel Thomas method.

I bought this for my husband, he's revising French and says that this really helps him to get the vocabulary correct. Job done!
