Skins Men's A400 Compression Long Tights, Black, Medium

Okay, this was my first pair of tights so take this with a grain of salt. I loved these tights so much though that I immediately bought 2 more pair when the price was right. My first run in them was amazing shaving 1:35 off my best 5k run! And I am barely sore from running in these compared to just shorts! So I am completely buying into the claims of compression gear. I'm so thankful for the cooler weather forcing me into wearing something over my legs, and I never expected to be this enthralled with an article of clothing. The tights are so comfortable that I was saying how I completely understand why so many women are out wearing tights/yoga pants....they are so comfortable!

I'm 6 feet tall and weight 190 so, the Skins sizing chart tells me to get size medium. I ordered a pair of the A400 in medium. At first, before putting them on I was a little skeptical becasue they looked small for my body size. However, after wearing them I understand why Skins size the A400's the way they do. Yes, they will compress you lower body but they feel wonderful. The design of these tights fit the body without feeling awkwardly tight and no bunching of material. No discomfort. There is a proper pouch for my penis to fit into and it doesn't move around while working out hard. The material is smooth, soft and has a nice feeling against the skin. Once set in place they don't move or fall down. They really have a look of quality.Are the tights see through? Well, kind of but your private area isn't going to be all on display because this section has a thicker material. The bum area can show some skin tone when you bend over to do squats but there is a muted tone to the material. It's hard to describe. If you wear a nude colored thong, no one will be able to tell and that's about all you would want to wear under these tights. Wearing much more than a thong would impact the comfort because these tights are meant to be extremely form fitting. No, I do not wear shorts over my tights because this defeats the purpose of the tights moving with the body in the first place. Working out in tights like the A400's feels different than wearing traditional baggy pants. It feels apart of you and it is just simply better in every way.Hands down these are the best feeling and fitting tights I have ever used. The Skins A400 are really designed for people that workout with a decent amount of exertion and this is when you will reap the benefits. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. I do wish Skins would add some pockets on the outside to hold a mobile phone.

After trying two other brands of compression tights, and returning them, I researched a bit and found these. I was reluctant to get them because they were more than I planned to spend, but wowwy, wow, wow! My husband LOVES them for playing basketball. He is very athletic, and has unfortunately, had multiple injuries and surgeries to his leg, knees and ankle. He said he feels so much better wearing these. They worked way better than the other two brands we tried (Under Armour and Nike). Yes, the cost was more than I wanted to spend, but they are well worth it. I plan to purchase him the long-sleeve compression top by Skins as well (elbow and shoulder surgery too).

I wear them for both play and recovery. . I do feel the difference on court and after getting up in the bed. Fits very tight but comfortable.

Extremely comfortable leggings. They fit well, are stretchy, and provide real compression. Plus, they look great.

My husband has enjoyed using these for warmth and compression.

Keep you warm and give good support when running - you get what you pay for sometimes - the Dnamic ones seem to have a much lower 'back' and feel like they are falling down a bit.

I had heard a lot about Skins being the premium compression tights on the market. And having had some extensive training sessions wearing them, I would have to agree that this is a worthy title.They are great for performance based, long distance running as they are extremely comfortable and compact in all the right place. The improved recovery in between sessions is also notable.

Great running tights. The compression works and really does help with endurance. I traded up from the A200's and am pleased. 4 rather than 5 stars as the price point is still very high. I like them though.
