19 year olds make bad decisions.
19 year olds make bad decisions. You do not have to. Instead, read this book, which was much better than I expected. Some of the characters (and their poor decisions) were quite frustrating, but that's to be expected of 19 year olds, no? There were some bits that made me laugh, but the book's not really a comedy. The heroine is something of a martyr (at least in her own head), but it wasn't a sad book at all. I think the author walked a fine line, and it really paid off. (I could imagine the story falling apart with only a few tweaks.)

I see Sydney losing her underpants.....
This is a cute coming of age story about two friends who travel all over Europe. They are on a budget (or try to be) and they have a guide book and tickets. Sydney is a planner by nature which is something I can relate to and her travel companion Leela, is - well, not. When Leela's cheating ex-boyfriend and his super cute travel buddy show up on the SAME FLIGHT, all hell breaks loose. You would think that Europe is big enough for all four of them but when they keep bumping into each other, the reader starts to think not!The girls learn a lot about love, themselves and what they are willing to do to make memories. This was a very easy, light hearted read which I enjoyed very much! Admittedly, I bought the book because it was on sale for Cyber Monday - The cover art was catchy and I am a sucker for travel stories. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be checking out the other books by this author as this was my first.Oh and if you don't get my tag line, read the book. You will get it.

Not bad
This book was a very well written and entertaining read. I loved the plot line and how it was carried out throughout the story, however I was not as big of a fan as the mother plot line. I felt it was unnecessary and created unnecessary issues when it came to Sydney and her ability to handle being overseas. I thought that the story would have been just as good with or without that line in the story.Leela, Sydney's best friend, was every bit the obnoxious, and annoying ex-girlfriend and best friend that she was meant to portray. She showed her irresponsibility and her overbearing attitude to the T throughout the whole book. At times she dragged Sydney down and held her from who she wanted to be, but I think that created a lot of character development in Sydney who needed to find her own way and figure out what she wanted out of her life.I thought the connection with Sydney and Jackson was very much believable and held the maturity of a college relationship comparable to Matt and Leela which still held the essence of a high school relationship. Sydney stayed loyal to her friend at first, and attempted to stay away from Jackson, but eventually her feelings won over and she allowed herself to fall for him. Unfortunately, this happened at the moment where Leela and Matt break up the second time, and Sydney once again chooses her friendship and old loyalties over being with Jackson. Watching their relationship unfold, and how the jealousy warped he,r after Matt and Jackson, and Leela and Sydney parted ways showed a lot of independence in Sydney and opened her eyes more to Leela's unfair treatment and abuse of their relationship.Overall this story was well written and fulfilled everything it needed to do. I think Sydney grew a back bone and her independence from her family, as well as recognized that she would have to make sacrifices in order to have a relationship with Jackson.

My bags are packed and ready to travel.
This book just made me want to travel the world and fall in love . It was so excited to read where this book was ready to take me. The plot was amazing. The main characters really clicked with me as well. I honestly thought didn’t like the best friend to much. The story starts with the main character stressed of leaving her family. That’s how I feel if I left ! Just do what makes you happy and what makes you feel complete. Don’t let others stop you from that. Would I read it again? Oh yes I would I can’t wait for the next one.

I enjoyed reading I See London
I enjoyed reading I See London, I see France. It is a cute young adult Lit. There are some drawbacks such as Leela character is annoying. She focused too much on the whole ex-boyfriend Matt drama. Sydney I felt that she has her own issues that never get resolved. Maybe her issue will get resolved in book two. I loved the backpacking tips the author gives but could have had some more details. The descriptions are amazing and feel like your actually there. Reading I see London, I see France made me want to hop a plane and go to Europe.

Not favorite but nice.
There were plenty of times that I wanted to stop reading and just return the kindle copy to Amazon cos I wasn't sure if I still wanted to continue reading Sydney and Leela's trip. Sydney was ok. She's not my favorite but I can tolerate her, but her bestfriend Leela was so annoying and selfish and I didn't like her even a little bit. Kat and Jackson are my favorites and I appreciate the other characters they met along the way. Their journey was ok, not that wonderful and memorable to me. Not the same feeling when I read about Anna and the French Kiss, Wanderlove, and other books where the characters travel and do backpacking. The first half was dragging for me, but at least the second half was good enough for me to continue. The story is good, not a favorite, but somehow it still made me feel nice in the end. The ending may not be that satisfying cos there is no definite HEA, but I still like it. Overall it was a nice read, I just hope there was a bit more romance.
