There were a few things that didn't come with the set so we weren't prepared for the extras. Also the door latches are a little difficult to open/close. Other than that all is ok.

700 bucks? It's made of wood instead of metal. Little computer fans with flimsy carbon filters. No door knob. I'm sure they made out cause this box should only cost 200 bucks tops. Cheaply made.....don't buy this one. Go somewhere that they actually take pride in making a quality product.

I received this product in perfect shape in a timely manner . Only on the 4th week of the growing cycle , but my hot peppers and tomato plant are exceeding my growing expectations . I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to grow plants inside , outside the growing time line in their area . WONDERFUL PRODUCT . If other things in my area ever become legal I will have a head start on how to manage a controlled environment like this .

The system is NOT whisper quiet. The sound produced by the fans produce about the same amount of sound that would come from 2 PC Towers. It is noticeable. Also, if you place a small fan inside the box, you will hear that too.Light is NOT 100% contained within the grow box. Some light is emitted from the back of the grow box from around the fans, where the cords for the fans and light exit, and from the "intake" area near the bottom of the back. This intake area contains no foil covering on the inside of the grow box, which is why light is emitted.If the plants you grow produce a strong odour, then you will smell it. And make sure you vent to the outside, otherwise you will be filling the room up with this odour as well as heat and humidity from inside the box. The odour control included helps to mask the odour, but does not eliminate it 100%.The finish on the exterior is not good. I was expecting the box to be constructed of plywood, and then have a vinyl finish added to it, much like you would see with an easy-to-assemble bookcase purchased from a chainstore. This, at least, would not draw attention to itself and allow it to blend in somewhat. Instead, it has a finish that looks like stucco. Left out in a room amongst your furniture, it's noticeable.The lights you receive are large 125W CFL bulbs. This is not enough light to grow anything. 125W will not produce enough light to penetrate the thick canopy of leaves and reach the lower leaves.The website claims that the light will be on a "yo-yo" system, allowing you to adjust the height of the light. This is not so. When I received my order, the installation instructions state that this extra is available for additional purchase.I opted to grow in soil. The 3 pots they sent me are cheap and too small. They also stink (literally, because of the low-quality plastic they are constructed of) and the saucers that come with them are too shallow to catch much water. They were probably picked up from a dollar store. Opt for the hydroponics system instead, even if you plan on growing in soil. At least you will be getting something for your money and will have the option of trying out the hydroponics system, if you feel so inclined to do so. To obtain your grow pots, go to a local garden centre and nursery to pick up something more suitable.While at the garden centre, pick up some good fertilizer; the "moon dust" is garbage.Most importantly, you will NOT produce as much plant matter as the manufacturer claims on their website. Not even close! Absolutely impossible.International buyers be warned: all paperwork associated with getting this growbox into the country will display quite clearly what the contents are for anyone to see. This voids the claim of stealth shipping.Save yourself some money and build one yourself.

I love my box ! it does make noside , so had to put it somewhere I don't sleep ........ I've had maybe 4-5 grows excellent product. I am 100% pleased. easy to take care of. there are things you can put in room away from plants for smell that work. wish I had room for another !

This box is roomy for plants to grow!Plus it's light, simple and came with free shipping and it was cheap! Can't beat that!It grows full sized, happy adult plants from start to finish and has paid for itself over again!
