"OcarinaWind" 10 inches C Major Steel Tongue Drum Black 11 Notes with Padded Drum Bag and Couple of Mallets, Beautifully finished and peaceful sound

After having purchased a similar steel tongue drum from a different "throwaway" brand, OcarinaWind's 10-inch offering is decidely inferior, while priced similarly to better drums.The finish on this OW-brand drum is very weird. The manufacturer photos don't reveal the extent to which the drum seems to be covered with a crinkly material, which appears to be melted onto the surface of the drum. It's a weird, undesirable effect, which makes the OW logo look like it was charred, not printed, onto the drum.Compared with rival drums, OW's drum lacks niceties such as an instruction and song booklet, extra number stickers, a shoulder strap for the drum bag, a sound hole cover to make the tone louder, and a plastic zippered pouch that fits within the drum bag to protect these drum accessories.The included mallets are nothing like the mallets featured in the product photos, and are positively puny and cheap compared the mallets that ship with rival drums, which I've pictured here for comparison.One of the three rubber drum feet, inserted at the bottom of the drum, was missing from the drum I received.From the playability side, I'm absolutely confused as to why OW switched the placement of the top and bottom metal tongues, which on other drums are positioned sensibly to allow players to easily play the scale in a sensible order. OW's placement makes it harder to play simple scale-traversal melodies, such as children's songs.On top of all these deficiencies, OW sloppily packs these drums in a generic cardboard box, with no plastic protection around the drum, and throws the mallets loose in the box. I'm very underwhelmed OW's offering.

Nice little drum, good tuning, nice harmonics, no wolf notes. Bought one from another seller was horribly out of tune. This on is really descent

This tongue drum was great! The quality and sound were perfect. It arrived late but that doesn't change the quality of the product. We did realize that 11 notes were a bit too many to start with. Overall though, the price was awesome and the quality was great.

This one does not have the pure sound like others.

It sounded like the video did after I held the mallets loosely in my hands. This is a beautiful piece.

Came in perfect condition, undamaged and plays well. Definitely good for the price.

The beautiful tone and sounds break up negative energy in my home.
