Fits perfectly on my old pump. Replaced both the impeller and the cover and now the pump works like new

not a lot to say, this fixed my pump when mine cracked, fits like a glove,

I would rate this cover 4.5 stars if I could but I'll go conservative. I have replace these covers on pumps in the past and their longevity is pretty good. Better than the impellers which last they themselves last a pretty good lick (2-3 years or so running 365 days a year at about 10 hours per day). Since only 1 manufacture makes this product, it is difficult to compare to anything else. However, given the longevity and price to replace, it is a fair deal.

Great product at a great price!

Exactly the part needed to bring new life back to a <4 yr old Mag Drive. On a new impeller cover the area for the impeller's ceramic shaft bushing to sit into is Pentagon shaped, after the pump has been in operation for a while, the recess become rounded out and causes the impeller to hang up or "knock" when spinning. Good idea to keep a spare on hand so that when you're servicing or cleaning your pump - you can replace this part if it is no longer supporting the impeller bushing correctly & bring it back into alignment.

Pondmaster must have very poor quality control. I just bought a model 7. The pump itself had a fracture, and the propeller housing also had a few cracks. At first I thought the housing cracked from installed so I bought two replacement housing just in case. However even both replacement housing have a fracture without even removing it from the bag. I thought this pump would be better quality than the cheap $20 pumps but I guess I was wrong.

The company that shipped the part. I'll give them five stars. It was delivered quickly and it's not expensive. The design of the impeller is poor I'll give them 1 Stars. The rotor is supported by a thin plastic piece which wears out easily. This is our second replacement of the impeller. Otherwise it's good.

I thought I was going to have to buy a new pump when the impeller cover broke, but this part saved the cost. Was delivered on time, and fit perfectly.
