So far so good w/several updates
I plan on updating this review as time progresses. My dog is 11 years old and unfortunately started showing signs of joint pain. It broke my heart to watch her struggle to get up after sleeping. She won't sleep on the couch like she used to. It got too hard for her to get on it. Like many people who dearly love their dogs, I am no exception. She truly is my best friend. She's weighs about 68 pounds and according to the vet at her ideal weight. She recently stumbled down the steps and I think it was due to her paw that's been injured a few times. Once that happened I started researching alternative remedies for joint health. In my opinion, the side effects of arthritis medicine are very scary. For my dog I would only use it as a last resort. I found the Liquid Glucosamine product on Amazon and probably read each one of the reviews. I was very impressed and hopeful so I ordered it.I had a hiccup with the shipping. It was supposed to be delivered Sunday 7/26 with Amazon Prime. The mail carrier even marked it as delivered even though it wasn't delivered until Monday late afternoon. That is not TerraMax's fault. I think it's a lack of integrity on the postal system.Anyway...so far I am very pleased. My dog isn't having any issues consuming or tolerating the product. The company recommends giving them a higher dosage at first -twice the recommended amount. With her weight, her maintenance dose is 2 tsp in the morning and 2 at night. I worked her up to 3 in the morning and 3 at night. Since she's doing so well tolerating it, I plan on increasing the dose to the recommended double dosage until she's been on it a while. I put it on a paper plate and crumble a treat over it. She gulps it down. I look forward to seeing results like so many other people.09/03/15 My dog has been taking this for about a month. Treat time in the morning and night is her favorite. I'm still crumbling up treats and putting it on them. She scarfs it down. Things got worse before they've gotten better. She was having such a difficult time with the stairs that I had to buy her a "Help 'em up" harness. Now I'm starting to see glimmers of hope and her mobility seems to be improving a little. She's not as scared to go down the stairs and I don't have to use the harness. A few mornings she jumped around like a little puppy. Yesterday she even hopped up a few stairs like she used to. There are times I still see her struggle. I bought two bottles with my first order. I'm going to have her complete both bottles before I make a decision about the effectiveness of this product. So far my initial thoughts hold true. I'm still impressed and hope her mobility only gets better from here.09/26/2015 My dog is doing great! She's acting like a puppy in the mornings. This morning she jumped on my bed to wake me up. She hasn't done that in at least two years. She's still afraid of going down the stairs since she stumbled down them a few times. Thankfully she hasn't done that in several weeks. This product is amazing. Buy it, you have nothing to lose. I wasn't given this product or any discounts. I paid full price for it and I highly recommend it.11/23/2015 I'm almost in panic mode as this product is currently out of stock. I can't recommend this stuff highly enough. I can't imagine not giving this to my dog. She is doing SO well. Give this product the time it needs to work and you won't regret it. My dog is sleeping on the couch again like old times. I hope and pray it will be back in stock soon.

My dog acts young again!
Several months ago my peppy, 11-year-old, ball-chasing lab changed almost overnight. She seemed to be in pain from the most simple movements like walking to and from her dog bowl. She no longer scrambled to eat the food that my kids dropped on the floor while eating and no longer greeted us at the door when we came home. Her pain and slow pace were noticeably worse after chasing the ball, especially the morning after.Though we were reluctant to stop our sweet dog from chasing the ball we knew it was inevitable so when the vet suggested the obvious, we made it official and told our kids and neighbors that our dog was no longer allowed to fetch, ever. Surprisingly, this really didn't do much to help. Not only did her pain and slow pace not improve but she seemed to be getting worse, very rapidly. There was obviously a more serious problem. Hip dysplasia is common in older labs so I assumed this was it. A brief conversation with the vet on a Tuesday revealed that when a dog is declining as quickly as ours was, it's usually more of a problem than hip dysplasia. The doctor suspected a problem with not only her hips but probably her spine. I scheduled my dog an appointment for that Friday at which they were going to run a bunch of (probably expensive) blood tests and they suggested acupuncture. What they didn't know is that I would never pay for acupuncture for my dog. We adore her but that's where I draw the line.Several days before calling the vet I had received my first bottle of TerraMax Pro from Amazon and had begun giving it to my dog as directed. I did give her more than the maintenance amount as they suggest it's a good idea to do that for the first month or so, and I figured my poor dog needed all the help she could get.The results were great immediately but I would say they continued to get better and better for the first month. The day before her scheduled vet appointment, she had been taking the supplement for about a week and was so much better that I cancelled the appointment. About four weeks into using this supplement, my dog was greeting us at the door again, asking neighbors to throw the ball to her, barking at the doorbell... she was completely her old self again.I can say with certainty that her turnaround was due to TerraMax Pro. After a little more than a month of giving our dog this supplement, I went out of town with my daughter for only 48 hours. I neglected to tell my husband where I keep the TerraMax Pro (in the fridge) and how much to give our dog at each meal. He thought she would be fine without it. When we returned from our road trip, my dog couldn't even get herself off of the floor to come say hi to me. She was worse than I had ever seen her. That night my husband literally had to pick her up and carry her outside to go potty then carry her back in the house. She was miserable. A few days back on TerraMax and she was in great shape again. We do let her chase the ball for a few minutes every few days. She's a little stiff the next day but nothing unusual for a dog her age.I decided to write this review (I seldom write reviews) because earlier today when I tried to order a new bottle, Amazon stated that they were out of stock and didn't know if and when they would have TerraMax again. Amazon seems to be the only place to get it. I was so upset because this product literally saved my dog's life. The back of the bottle had an email address so I sent an email to the company and got a friendly response that Amazon was working quickly to resolve an internal problem and that it should be available again soon. Well, I see that the same day it IS available again, Thank GOD!Thank you to the makers of TerraMax Pro. What a lifesaver it has been for my dog!

Helps Labrador with Hip Dysplasia & Arthritis
So, my 7.5 year old black lab has hip dysplasia and the beginning signs of arthritis in her knees. I've been feeding her various types of glucosamine and turmeric supplements coupled with swimming with a life jacket and I will say, I see a HUGE improvement in my dog and her ability to walk on stairs and a massive reduction in limping. Can I blame this improvement on any one product? No, and I make sure to write that in all of my reviews, but the combination really does make a difference. This is a great product and I know that my dog enjoys this being in her food daily, but it's 32 floz and I have to give her 4 teaspoons a day and at $40 a bottle I'm not totally sure if I'm super sold on this product. But for what it's worth, if you have a dog who needs a glucosamine supplement and isn't a furry vacuum that will eat literally anything regardless of taste then this may be a really great option for you since it's liquidy and tasty. :)
