Coolibar UPF 50+ Women's Men's Stevie Ultra Sun Hat - Sun Protective

Hat seems well-constructed and fit as expected. I liked the look from the front. It looks a bit odd from behind, IMO. My main issue is it does not perform well in wind. With nothing to hold the neck flap in place, it's just FLAPFLAPFLAPPITYFLAP which is distracting and also randomly exposes your neck to the sun.For the premium price, I'd like a ponytail hole - it's a women's hat after all - and a way to secure the neck flap in windy or breezy conditions. I bought another hat on Amazon which is 1/5 the price of this and has both those features, so I feel there are better options for the price.

The mesh at the back is covered by another layer of fabric that fits so tight no air is vented. Why ugly brass snaps? Why not Velcro? At least Velcro I can take off and resew. But not snaps. My face would prefer in between the 2 face sizes they assume all women have?? Why is there always a problem with some unadjustable or poorly adjustable component of solibar hats/face masks? I am so frustrated with your design team and whoever decides making multiple sizes would be too expensive. Note: women who have anything other then a very short pixie haircut will find if you tighten the bungee to make the hat fit better it will instead drag your hair around. Do you see any other ladies hats with bungees by other manufacturers? No. It’s a dude thing. Please show your design team Helen Kaminski (they also use a thin strip of foam at the headband so no marks left on your forehead) and Tilley for other “tightening” options that work. Though this is really not the right answer. Multi sizes are. ESP for a hat worn daily by women for sun protection not to hunt deer.Measured my head and it should fit... but the inner headband edging is too tight. Did like other reviewer and removed. Not ideal but we have few options until solibar makes a ladies hat in multiple sizes. A hat for a size 2 lady will not also fit a 3x honestly large-boned lady. If only they had made this and inch bigger. Even a half inch would have made all the difference. Remember Coach leather wear crusher hats? Those were ladies. Came in s/m and m/l and xl. The xl was too big (for weaves or wigs - how thoughtful.) why can’t solibar take a look at existing successful hat band sizing from a major designer? Rather then continue to frustrate customers with repeated failed designs and poor fit. Which is getting so old.The men’s horribly designed Mens brimmed hat with a one side Velcro closure is too big and everyone know the face cover is so badly designed as to be useless -so don’t bother with that one either. The face masks for men fit me but are so tight as to be uncomfortable. Men also complained. Ugh. Figure it out!

It’s the best hat ever. I have a melanoma treatment in one mole in my left side of my face but this hat is my best friend when I go out in this sunny days!

I love this sunhat! I almost wear it everywhere. It provides so much protection, it’s light weighted and comfortable. The price for this is on the high side, but it’s Totally worth the money.Pros:1. Good spf food protection. I wore this hat to Tibet. I was out all day for 3 weeks traveling around, and didn’t get any sun burn.2. Full coverage. It has a face cover, wide rim, and long cover for the neck. It covers everything above the collar bones.3. Lighted weighted, machine washable. It’s easy to carry around and easy to clean.4. For a hat that covers your entire head, it is very breathable.5. It has a strap, so even when the wind is strong, your hat is safe.It can get a bit uncomfortable after a really long time, but that’s the same for all hats.I strongly recommend it if you need to be under the sun for prolonged time period. Plus this face cover even works well for covid protection.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My hat became discolored after one wash (hand washed, soaked in gentle detergent, cold water).The fabric that covers the nose is not the most comfortable. The wiring is a bit stiff. It also is floppy so it can be tough for climbing/hiking where looking down is necessary.I think an upgraded model that has more comfortable wiring and fabric that can be tucked into a turtleneck or shirt is needed.That said, it gave me the sunblock I needed. I'd give it 5 stars if the product had these issues but was cheaper. At $50 I expect a very well designed hat.

Very light weight and breathable!! I originally bought in the protect during the initial Covid face-covering days. Now, I wear for outdoor projects, beach trips, fishing and other outdoor adventures, etc. I stay fully protected from the sun, rain and can cover my face, if desired. My friends ask where I bought it, so they can get one.

I love this hat. I got it to wear for tennis lessons when my face is in the bright sun. The brim of the hat is stiff which makes for good coverage and it doesn’t flop in my face while running. My only complaint is it’s a one size fits all, and I have a smaller head, so the hat is big on me. But, I think I can take some padded hat tape and line it and it will probably fit better. Otherwise, it’s great !

This hat covers it all. I have a real problem with going out in the sun and I love kayaking. This hat even has a very breathable face guard if the sun is beaming off the water in your face. Very lightweight and does not add any heat to your head and neck while wearing it. It has an adjustment to make if fit snuggly if you'd like.

Very good hat: light and breathable material , very high protection from the sun. The delivery was very quick .I warmly recommend.
