Quality collar for underground fence.
These are a great product.*Battery life is excellent*Overall quality is very good*Only downside is they are kind of expensive.*Collar can be cut to length (recommended)I have 3 of these now, the first 2 have been in use for over 4 years.

Super easy and very effective.
I waited until I have had this for a few months before giving a review. It was easy to install, I am 55yr old woman and my yard is about an acre. I followed the directions for training and it took about 3 days before my dog understood his boundaries. (I just adopted a 18 month old dog from the shelter who has a lot of energy and loves to run). The invisible fence system gives my dog so much freedom. Would definitely recommend!

A GOOD buy! Works fantastic!
We got this just so our dogs wouldn't want to dig under their fence and get out and it definitely works for that! They, obviously, could see the fence boundary so no having to learn the boundary with the flags. If you zip tie this to your fence the dogs seem to learn it pretty fast. Took our Aussie and retriever about an hour max. We put the distance to shock near the fence boundary on zero on the box so they could get about a foot or closer to the fence before it actually shocked them and this worked perfect since we just wanted it to shock them if they tried to sit there and dig under the fence. Our Aussie did fine with the lowest shock setting on her collar but our retriever was tougher and needed a notch higher! Overall the fence worked perfectly the way it should and the collars are working just as explained! Learning to adjust the box distance from fence to shock and collar intensity on the dog is the only thing that took us a min but it's pretty self explanatory. We put our box under our back porch for our "weatherproof spot" and ran the wires along the edge of the house to the pen. Unless there's a flaw with this from just a manufacture malfunction out of the box, it shouldn't give anyone any trouble if you set it up the way the manual says! So if you're reading reviews to decide on which boundary system you should buy I'd recommend this one for sure!

Great fence, could use some tweaks
Fence instructions were a little hard to follow, they weren’t terrible or poorly translated, just difficult to follow. Installation wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t terrible either. It is easier with two people. The base unit is fine, but we wanted to mount it vertically and the mounting holes only allow for mounting horizontally. We did it anyway, and it got knocked off. The charging cable broke off on the fall (the small prongs that plug into the unit are pretty fragile) and I have to buy a new one. It kinda sucks, but it was my fault.I would like it better if you could set a warning zone size and a stimulation zone size. The instructions state it only gives 20% warning size to 80% stimulation size, but the ratio can’t be changed.Collar is made for dogs of many sizes, so there is quite a bit of extra length on my medium sized dog. I’m sure it can be cut down, but it would be nice to have neck size options instead of one-size-fits-all.I really do love the fence. And for the price, it is great. Just a little sweat and time required.

Recommend for LGD.
I have mine on several acres and works great keeping my 115 pound guard dog home. Collars stay charged for weeks in end as my digs don’t test boundaries because they respect the system. I’ve had it in place since 2021. Fence wire placement is important as I have a horse who likes to dig it up. Definitely have to have a little patience to teach your dog there boundary if it isn’t accompanied by a fence but they learn fast and product works well.

Deeply unhappy with the results
I figured I'd try this while we're waiting to put an actual fence in. Feeling like I completely wasted my time.Right now, my biggest complaints with the system is wild inconsistency with triggering distances. In one part it triggers 10+ feet away. In a different section, it doesn't even trigger on top of the line. Some places randomly jump to shock while others never trigger at all, even if I'm 4 inches away from the line.* Big surprise to learn you need to run a dedicated wire from the transmitter box to your house's ground stake UNLESS you spend more money on the ground plug. This is buried in the instructions* The wall wart is massive.* The wall wart cable is ridiculously short* The terminal for the power supply is terrible. Directional, but constantly falling out.* The collar charger cable is ridiculously short* The entire transmitter box is unnecessarily large. You can see that it's basically just a 4x6 circuit board inside. Why is the grounding and wall wart electronics not built in? Why doesn't it just use a 3 prong cable?* Transmitter box cannot be installed outside AND should not be installed on a GFCI circuit. That rules out most of the easily accessible outlets, including garage.* Collar came completely dead. Not the end of the world, but annoying to be almost done then have to wait for it to charge.* Layout and design is much more restrictive than I anticipated. Ended up looping around the house (and under the driveway) to avoid giving up massive amounts of my backyard.Things that I did like:* Plenty of wire provided* Despite other's complaints, wire is sturdy.* The splicing caps are good. Better than another brand I bought* Two spools made it a bit more manageable to work with.
