Don't know why I didn't think of changing to LED before!
I bought these because my old Halogen 25W G9 bulbs were giving up the ghost. Half of them no longer worked. I was just about to order another set of Halogen when I read that a 3W LED was equivalent to a 25W Halogen, they were brighter, lasted longer, and were cheaper. Apparently to multiply the LED watts by 8 to get the equivalent Halogen (8 x 3 = 24w) equivalent. They were easier than the halogens to fit, & definitively much brighter. I dont know if they actually do last longer, but if they dont I will return to this review and update. My local shop wanted £6.15 per halogen bulb! - The fifteen LEDs I bought were just over £20 for 15off! Its a no brainer.

Really bright bulbs hope they last long
Bought similar ones off eBay last year for a centre light fixture which takes 6 bulbs, one bulb blew within the year, had forgotten I had spares, and bought these from Amazon, I put the bulb from Amazon in and it was so much brighter compared to the other ones, changed the rest of the bulbs and the room is so much brighter, before I’d have the spotlights on too but these bulbs are so bright there’s no need of switching on the spotlights now

Lighting suits our needs
The product replaced the super bright white lights we previously had. This lighting level is so much more relaxing for reading, watching TV etc. They are great value for money. The design is easy to insert into the light. Had no need to replace as they are new. Been in a few weeks now.

Flickers like mad. Bad for eyes
Quite bright and appears to do the job well but it's flickering like crazy. I've tested them using video cameras. Three mobile phones and a video camera. On all devices I get terrible flicker. I wish I've done this earlier as it's too late to return now.

Best LEDs I've found so far
This is my third pack of LEDs from Amazon and so far the best. You can tell the quality is good just from the box, individual packing, proper English spellings and individually boxed too. Do exactly what they say on the tin. Will be getting more.

Work well with an LED dimmer switch.
Work well with an LED dimmer switch without any flickering. When used with a non-LED dimmer switch they constantly flicker. Bought LED dimmer switch for about £20 on Amazon to benefit from long term reduction in electricity usage.

Great fitting bulbs and bright
Was a little wary about the light output given others' comments, but didn't fail to impress.Bought this pack when Amazon had an offer on with a voucher.Great value

Exactly as described. Superb Light and the Bulb itself looks great in the hanging glass ceiling lights in our kitchen!Will certainly purchase again!
