When I originally bought this I felt it was a nice piece. The mouse toy was missing at the top and I said, ‘let’s let it slide. It’s a nice model.’ SIKE - The wood was cracked making it unstable for my cats. I sent back the item, and they refused to give me my money back. Thankfully amazon is resolving the issue. The good life messaged me this morning saying they would, “not report me to the mail carrier or amazon.” Quite, hilarious seeing as I keep receipts and I’m the furthest thing from a criminal. Horrible experience.

I was a bit nervous to purchase this without reading any reviews, but I am so glad I went with my instinct and purchased it. Assembly was fairly simple and the instructions were straightforward - took my husband and me about 20 to 30 minutes to put everything together. Be aware though as it is a bit wobbly at first (hence why I am giving out 4 stars)- make sure to have something sturdy support it. Luckily we had some self-stick wall pads that we could help the compartments nicely get attached to the wall. The whole thing got much more sturdy after doing that. Other than this, our kitty immediately seemed to enjoy its presence - she's all over it now.

This was easy to assemble and seems to be of quality materials that will last a while. I like the cloth pads come off and can be washed to keep the cat fur down. Be aware when opening as there was a separate instructions sheet with a hand written “use this one” at one end.

UPDATE: Almost a year later and my cats are not gentle on it. I've had to replace the rope and that's about it. You wash the bed padding, or replace it your choice. I'm already looking at buying another tower. Great investment, definitely recommend.---Best cat tower I've bought so far! Easy to clean, assemble and it's sturdy. The cats took to it right away. Not to mention my foster kittens absolutely love it! Would definitely buy another one when I get more space

I felt like I was taking a chance ordering this as I had noticed a lot of people saying that it wasn't very sturdy. I actually disagree: It is quite sturdy for my cat, but she is only 6 lbs so perhaps that is why. It's beautiful and looks much nicer than those cheap looking carpet covered cat trees. My cat can dig her claws into the rope much better than carpet and it's very easy to clean. The only issue I had was that one of the screws didn't quite fit: it seemed too large to fit into any of the parts. It took my boyfriend a good bit of effort to force it in, and even now I'm not quite sure how he managed! Overall I'm very pleased with the look, it functions well, and my cat loves it.

My cats LOVE this thing! They sent me the wrong directions to put it together, but I got it figured out. Also a nail was sticking out and it cut into one of the boards which I didn’t like. But it looks amazing in my house and matches the aesthetic of the rest of my furniture. I was very happy with this purchase!!

Just so easy to assembly. It went together in about 20 minutes. I purchased this, because I feel the standard carpeted cat trees are a bit of an eye sore, this is an improvement. However, I wish there was a darker “wood” finish.

Bought this for my little niece birthday. I had all of almost put together except the top level. The last bolt for the top piece was stripped. Lucky! I had bought myself a cat condo previously and had an extra bolt that came with my cat condo. But other than that, I like this purchase
