This cream is thick – like, properly thick – but that's exactly what you want. It creates a really durable barrier between his delicate skin and all that moisture and irritation. On the one occasion where I saw a tiny bit of redness starting (probably because I wasn't quick enough with a change!), applying this cleared it right up by the next diaper change. My only complaint is how hard this is to get off of my own hands after I apply it to her butt. It’s a great barrier cream. Her diaper rash has improved and there’s minimal redness now just after a few times of using it also makes the poop easy to wipe off of her butt. It’s a good deal for your money. It works well. She’s comfortable with it. There’s a very minimal smell to it. Easy to apply and it’s a very thick cream.

I recently discovered Triple Paste Medicated Ointment for diaper rash, and while it’s marketed for babies, I found it to be a surprisingly effective product for facial basting as well.
