Exactly what was described and fast delivery

I bought these refills (purchased from Pens By Lanier) for my Retro 51 Tornado. The ink writes consistently - it's dark and doesn't skip. I don't think these write as smoothly as the ink that came with the pen, however. The writing experience is less smooth - there's a slight scratchy feeling and noise/clicking when I write. It is a slightly finer line than the ink that came with the pen which is what I wanted.

I've had a Retro 1951 Tornado pen for a few years and always used their refills. I just received these Schmidt refills today. I like them so much that I had to respond immediately. They are very smooth writing and the ink flows nicely onto the paper. I have a large heavy hand and have trouble writing with some fine tipped pens but not these. I really like my Retro 1951 Tornado pen and with these refills, I like it even more!

Best pen refills/inserts. Hi, my name is Mako, and am a penaholic. I own a nice variety of pens. A good deal of these use ink inserts like these. Many are by custom manufacturers. They know ,as I do that these provide a most remarkably smooth writing experience. The price for three is quite reasonable. The only issue I have is that occasionally, they do seem to run dry rather quickly. This is no fault of the seller,but rather ,the manufacturer. Seller - excellent. Value- excellent.

I was shopping on Amazon for Schmidt 8126 MINI refills-found them fast, but when Amazon listed “other sellers” and a lower price, I ordered these. I only gave the 3 star rating to grab attention & educate others to prevent the same disappointment. These do not fit “mini” pens. I know several others who have purchased the mini & they are great-I am sure these also the same high quality Schmidt is known for, as long as you have a pen that calls for “short” not “mini” refills…..
