Jago Side Awning in DIFFERENT COLOURS AND SIZES (Red, 300 x 180 cm)

We bought this as one of a pair in February this year, 6 weeks ago one of the screens completely jammed. Since then we have not had any response from JAGO at all. We tried to contact them through Amazon but Amazon were unable to help. I have tried calling but despite being the 'next in line' I was not able to get through and gave up after 40 minutes. The fittings were poor but we bought new ones which allowed for fitting. We have tried the e-mail address as stated on the recorded message but this too has bounced back. My advice is to purchase from another source as we are unable to get them to respond.

Can only echo what everyone else has already said, throw away the small Allen screws as they are machine thread and not self tapping. Go out and buy some self tappers and they will screw themselves into the oversprayed frame.The screen itself is superb and works brilliant for protection from wind for the bbq. It is a bit stiff to pull across but it does get easier the more you use it, after all, it is designed to be under tension.I have fit this to a fence post for the decking so I have had to modify the direction of the brackets, I used the spare brackets to secure the locking post to another fence post and fixed each bracket with coach screws. I also added some cable ties on the main housing for added strength.Would have been a 5 rating if screws had been self tapping.

Good quality..., robust materiel..., simple to install (after reading previous buyers reports). Did not use any of the fitting brackets/expansion bolts etc. but instead, positioned a 10x10cm fence post cut to the height of the metal box assembly that hoses the screen, and sunk post into border next to house wall using postcrete. Simple job then to attached the box to the post with two broad heavy duty nylon ties. This allows easy removal to dry location during the winter. Other end of the assembly uses a tube sunk into the garden with the top at ground level. Second (slightly smaller tube) slides into first tube with the top sitting 1mtr above ground level. Attachment supplied for this end of the unit simply attaches to the protruding pole with smaller nylon ties, thereby allowing quick and simple removal when not required - no permanent pole to worry about.

Good idea and product, especially for the price but let down badly by their customer service. Mine arrived poorly packaged and without any fixing pack. when I contacted them they insisted on a signed affidavit that I did not have the fixings and even then after nearly 3 weeks and numerous emails I was sent totally the wrong bits. Luckily I managed to source screw, brackets and wall fixings locally very cheaply and so was able to mount the screen. In use it does exactly what is required of it and as I say well worth the money. If I hadn't thought it would do the job I would have just returned it as faulty but it was worth persevering with. Hopefully I was just unlucky.

Only been fitted for a few months and fitted under a canopy. Already it is rusting everywhere. I am really not happy about this.Customer service have offered to replace parts, but the bolts cannot be removed from the wall once inserted, so are impossible to replace.Literally everything would need to be replaced, which would be impossible to refit, and as it would be the same items, they would rust just the same again.

This awning unit was well made but the fabricfor the awning we found too thin as a stretched privacy screen, even a light breeze distorted it.We are still trying through Amazon to get Jago to arrange collection and subsequent refund because itis not fit for our purpose on the patio!Company keeps re-delivering package, avoid them!

I would of like two give it 5 stars, but I couldn't . The pictures shown are out of date as the fixing shown are not the ones now package the brackets shown are now part of the metal casing , plus it states it can be fixed to the ground , no it cant , it need to be fix to a sturdy 100mm x 100mm wooden post or brick wall and the latching post of the awning must be fixed into concrete or a metal spike

Wer billig kauft, der kauft halt zweimal. So auch bei diesem Artikel.Einen Versuch war es wert, dachte ich. Da dieser Artikel leider nicht Prime geliefert wird, schlägt die Rücksendung mit € 17,50 (vom Käufer zu tragen) zu Buche. Der Artikel ist recht nachlässig verarbeitet, so mussten z.B. die Löcher für die kleinen Gewindeschrauben erst einmal mit dem Gewindeschneider von Farbe und Rückständen befreit werden, um überhaupt schrauben zu können. Die Jalousie selber lässt sich sehr schwer aus ziehen und steht so unter Zug, daß der Haltepfosten dies kaum ausgleichen kann. Die obere freihängende Hälfte biegt sich stark in Zugrichtung. Trotzdem hält sie dem Wind kaum stand, zieht sich dann von selbst aus und bleibt dann hängen (Tuch hängt durch). Beim Einfahren verheddert sich die Jalousie gerne mal, so daß es mehrere Versuche braucht, diese ohne Schäden einzufahren. Ich denke, hier macht es Sinn, ein paar Euro mehr auszugeben. Mich hat es nicht überzeugt.

Questa tenda è fatta male, il bastone dopo neanche due mesi sta facendo già la ruggine, come si vede dalle foto. Tra l'altro il venditore non se la vuole riprendere. Io consiglio vivamente di comprarla da un'altra parte, di un'altra marca.

Come da descrizione, usato per creare privacy in un terrazzo al mare. Buoni materiali, si avvolge rapidamente e in modo preciso. È stato montato sospeso, facendo delle opportune modifiche, già previste al momento dell'acquisto.

Ich bin leider von diesem Produkt komplett enttäuscht habe dieses angebaut einmal ausgezogen um den Abstand zu markieren wo ich die Haltestange festmachen muss wieder reingemacht dabei schon keine Bremse bemerkt nachdem ich die Haltestange montiert habe die Markise wieder ausgezogen habe sah ich schon die ersten Falten und auch da bemerkte ich keine Bremse habe die Markise in die Haltestange eingehängt so wie vorgesehen losgelassen und die Stange gab nach so dass die Markise ca 50 cm in der Mitte zusammen sagte der gewünschte Effekt dass keiner auf meine Terrasse schauen kann wurde dadurch leider nicht erfüllt die mitgelieferten Schrauben sind der reinste Reinfall ich habe dir die Markise fest konnte die Schraube immer weiter drehen irgendwann war gut wollte sie denn das erste mal ausziehen und hatte die Markise komplett in der Hand was heißt die Schrauben im gespannten Zustand konnte ich ohne Probleme wieder aus der Wand ziehen bin sehr enttäuscht von diesem Produkt würde mich gerne auf einen Kontakt mit dem Verkäufer freuen und eventuell gibt es dafür eine Entschädigung ich werde eine Woche warten wenn nach einer Woche noch nichts passiert ist werde ich dieses Produkt in den Karton zurück schmeißen und zurückschicken und mich dann für ein anderes Produkt entscheiden müssen war eigentlich sehr froh da ich nicht viel Geld habe eine günstige Seitenmarkise zu bekommen habe drei Bilder hinzugefügt auf dem letzten Bild habe ich die Markise mit einem Seil abgespannt damit sie ein bisschen stramm ist auf dem zweiten Bild kann man sehen wie die Markise durch hängt und auf dem dem dritten Bild sieht man was ich gesehen habe als ich die Markise das erste mal ausgepackt habe die Markise selber ist irgendwie zusammen gerutscht und schlägt nun falten die man nicht mehr gerade ziehen kannInformation an den Verkäufer schreiben Sie mir doch gerne eine E-Mail under [email protected] mich auf Ihre E-Mail

La idea es simple y aparentemente fácil. El problema viene cuando tienes que tener más de 20 cms de margen en los ángulos de las paredes para montarlo. Las pletinas de sujeción son cortas y los tornillos van muy cerca del cuerpo y del poste de sujeción, por lo que no se puede utilizar una llave de tubo, así es que hay que hacer brazos.El poste en el que se sujeta el toldo cuando se abre es muy débil para sujetar la tensión del muelle, que, por cierto, está excesivamente tenso y se atasca. Engancharlo para abrirlo es toda una aventura. Necesitaría una palanca de desbloqueo porque a veces la lona se queda enganchada y ni abre ni cierra. La tornillería viene preparada para ser instalado sobre hormigón. Si lo tienes que instalar en un porche con paredes o suelo de ladrillo, la tensión de la lona los expulsa fuera, Si no tienes pared de hormigón tienes que comprar tornillería adecuada y bridas metálicas de sujeción (que por supuesto no vienen incluidas).

Keine großen Erwartungen ,nach Montage stellte ich fest das die Tuchbremse nicht funktioniert ,alles komplett auf Spannungalso alles wieder abbauen und zurückschicken .Keine großen Erwartungen sieht man eigentlich auch am Preis.

Da freut man sich etwas schönes gekauft zu haben - und dann so was !Die Schrauben für die Befestigungswinkeln sind einfach nicht rein zu bekommen, nach 1/3 ist Schluss. Mehr Kraft hilft auch nicht, weil die Aufnahme für den Imbuss dann aufgibt.Eigentlich sollte der Lieferant sofort einen Gewindeschneider mit dazu geben.Hab mir jetzt einen bestellt - wenn das nicht klappt geht das ganze Ding zurückEingentlich Schade das so was dann an einer Kleinigkeit scheitert !!

Commentaire après 5mois d'utilisation.J'ai regardé longtemps ce produit qui variait de prix dans la couleur voulue (gris anthracite)je l'ai eu finalement à 59e (au lieu au plus haut de 89e).Arrivé très vite il est exactement comme souhaité.Le coloris est chouette et deperlant.Le rendu sympa.La hauteur permet d etre chez soi mais le fait de le derouler ou enrouler est pratique pour voir si besoin. Il coupe le vent parfaitement.il faut juste prévoir des bons arrimages avec des vis en plus pour assurer.Les 1ers temps un peu dur, mais s’assouplit vite.ravieeeeeeeee

...aber zunächst nur mit Einschränkungen. Erstens ist die Spannkraft so hoch, dass man den Sichtschutz kaum ausgezogen bekommt. Das wird aber mit der Zeit leichter. Die Führungsnut in die der Windschutz auf der Zugseite eingelassen ist, ist zu weit, so dass sich die Jalousie immer wieder aus der Nut löst. Ich habe jetzt die Ecken des Windschutzes mit Lederecken beidseitig verstärkt, eine Öse eingelassen, und dann die jeweiligen Enden an der Zugstange mit kräftigem Segelgarn festgebunden. Darüber hinaus ist es eine Kunst, den Windschutz gleichzeitig in den unteren Zapfen, und gleichzeitig in die obere Öffnung der Haltesäule zu fädeln. Tricky. Auf die untere Führung kann man aber auch verzichten. Jetzt ist es in Ordnung. Leider lässt sich, auf die Länge, das Tuch nicht gleichmäßig aufrollen, und es bilden sich Längsfalten. Aber, letztendlich sieht es gut aus, und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Wenn man ein bisschen basteln kann, und es nicht so genau nimmt, kann man, bei dem Preis, nicht meckern. Man muss sich nur fragen, welche Vögel da an den Konstruktionsrechnern sitzen.

Le gris n'est pas vraiment uniforme et le tissu est par endroit froissé....(je l'ai mis volontairement à l'envers car le sol est en terre).Le système de reenroulage est très puissant, trop peut être.

Arrivato in perfette condizioni. Ma il montaggio da soli non è proprio una passeggiata. Bastava saperlo... sono servito 8 fori...4 a parete e 4 a terra con una punta da 12, quindi con un bel trapano a percussione abbastanza potente. Le vitine da un lato che reggono la staffa alla barra di ferro non erano allineate quindi difficoltoso stringere bene. La tenda è pesante da far scorrere. Nel complesso Buon acquisto.

Le ho usate per chiudere dei finestrini nelle mie verande. Devo dire che adempiono pienamente allo scopo che avevo in mente. Forse sono un poco rumorose quando tira molto vento.

l'ho comprato per dividere il mio terrazzo e ripararmi dal vento ma ho preso una fregatura, con il vento si muove tutto e devo chiuderlo per paura che si spacchi, il materiale in dotazione per il montaggio pessimo, ho dovuto comprare tutto io, inoltre spero sta malissimo perché si vede il telone non ben disteso ma caduto, molle nella parte alta, non l'ho restituito solo per non lasciare i buchi a terra e nel muro, non lo consiglio

Die Seitenmarkise wurde pünktlich geliefert und wirkt von guter Qualität. Mein Mann muss diese jedoch noch aufstellen, denn so einfach wie gedacht, funktioniert es nicht. Wir unterlagen der Annahme, dass die Markise eigenständig (ohne Wandanschlag) stehen kann und man dadurch nur ein Stück auf der Terrasse mit dieser Markise abschirmen kann (mein Mann säbelte leider unsere Hecke ab :( ) Das funktioniert nicht und man muss nach einer anderen Lösung suchen. Schauen wir mal.

Tenda nel complesso buona per lo scopo. Io lo uso come frangivista d'occorrenza. Le parti ferrose sono buone dopo più di un'anno non mostrano segni di ruggine o invecchiamento. Mentre le parti in plastica mostrano un po' i segni del tempo (viraggio colore) ma per il momento niente di preoccupante sembra intatta la robustezza
